    Finally my N400 is approved in spite of so many road blocks. Applied Citizenship on Jan 2, 2020 and got approval on June 16,2020. The process took little over 5 months but case as suspended for 3 months due to covid crisis. It would have taken 2 months, 20 days if there were no interruptions. Cleveland USCIS office is simply outstanding ! Proud to be an American !

  1. you can go to SS offce and get all done in that visit

     

    so, take a day off and hit the ss office and then the post office to change SS info and apply to passport

      Hi Jeanne - I know what you mean but SSA offices are closed in Cleveland area. They don't know when they would re-open. I am bit worried about mailing all those originals for fear of losing them in mail. I can't drive without DL 😔

      I am USC and i had to mail original birth certificate plus other documents to claim my benefits when my husband passed away/ make a copy of them for your records and send them as certified return receipt

      you will get the originals back

      Thanks Jeanne. Your case give me some comfort. I plan to send my Fedex so I can track it. I have to check with BMW Ohio if they can give a temporary license as I will have to mail-in driver's license original.
