  1. Thank you everyone for your help! So it was time frame in my case. We applied in December and Social Security office started to work on it after holidays in January then it was less than 2 weeks.
  2. Hello, I applied for the SSN in December after we got married. Everything went well and they told me to wait for the card in my mail or come back to the office in 4 weeks. I didn't get the card so I went to the office 2 days ago and they told me that they can't issue it because of USCIS and I need to call them or go there. I tried to go there and they said I need to book an appointment after that I called to USCIS waited for 45 minutes and the lady there said that she doesn't have any information and I need to talk to somebody who knows more but she can't transfer me to another person because it's too late. I called the next day and another lady on the phone said I don't qualify for the SSN and I can't get an appointment in the office. I called again and one more lady said she will transfer me to somebody higher and maybe they can give me more information but from what they have K1 can't obtain SSN. And that level 2 of USCIS who has more information is too busy and I need to wait over 1080 minutes to get in touch with them. So I don't know what to do. Any advices? Thank you.
