@BinWI - The physical notice is the same as the one under the documents tab on your myUSCIS account. You'd typically see the physical in 2 weeks, but if you dont get it before the appointment date, you can print the one from your myUSCIS account and take it to the appointment. My friend never received the physical notice, just took a print of the online doc and attended his interview and has been a citizen for over a month now since he had a same day oath.

Thank you for your answer.  It makes feel less stressed about this whole journey.

  2. My local office is MKE.  I applied in Nov. 2020 and have heard nothing. My on line account always showed -

    Estimated time* until case decision:

Things are taking longer than expected. You do not have to do anything at this time.

This summer my online account was showing that they would "take action" in 4,3,2,1 months.  Then in Sept. it changed to 4,3,2,1,days, then back to the Estimated time above.

I noticed in the Imm. Timelines here that people reporting from MKE are getting thru in approx. 6 mos.  I am now at 13 mos.

    Should I call them?

The processing time for MKE is up to 16 months which would mean I shouldn't contact them until April.

My pdf online application has some info missing which I know I had filled in.  Discussions earlier here on Visa Journey discussed that sometimes the info was miss on the appplicants pdf but the officers had all the info on theirs.  Should I send them a message or letter with the info filled in?

I really am at my wits end with this.

No movement at all. :( Although it says in my estimated timeline that there’s only 23 days for case decision. So…🤷‍♀️

I applied under 5 year rule in WI.  In Sept my est. timeline went down to 1 day and then back to the original - something like " Things are moving slower than expected and I don't have to do anything".  It still says that.  I applied Nov 24, 2020.  Wondering if anything will happen this year.

I’m assuming you filed online? The online copy of the forms doesn’t always show everything you put in. It looked to me like some of my answers were blank but the copy my IO had had everything properly filled in. In any case you will be going over all the questions again in the interview so if something was inadvertently left blank you can correct it there.

Than you for responding.  I know I filled everything in so it makes me feel better to know some answers don't show.  I sent them an online message explaining and asking advise  but of course, no response.  I'll wait for my interview.  Milwaukee seems to be very slow.

  5. I applied for citizenship in Nov 2020.  Today it shows I still have a 4 month wait (Milwaukee0

I noticed on my application that there is a reply missing "What is your country of citizenship or nationality"

Can I go in and add that now or will it screw up the application.

I am Canadian but also have Swiss citizenship (because my parents were Swiss) but I was born in Canada.  Do I mention both?

    Thanks for any advise

  6. I'm getting ready to file online and have a few questions.  For the signature page, do you print out a copy, sign it and upload it to send?

Also for "proof of marriage" documents did you send them as one upload or each one separate.  I have them all in one PDF, should I change that?

Thanks for any help.  I just want to have everything ready so I don't have to stop in the middle of filing.

Well I am heading towards "old" like a freight train. 😂  Been PR since 1996. So yeah, I am going to go for it. If it wasn't all so nerve wracking. My biometrics was on a Friday and the San Antonio office isn't open on Fridays, only biometrics. They check the letter and time and date at security. I hope next one will not be that bad. It was horrible and I don't do well in crowds.

Well I too am heading towards old like a freight train.  I think I'll wait a few years before doing citizenship as it is quite expensive after just paying for a GC.  Maybe we'll both be back here on the Citizenship board in a few years.

Yay, just picked it up from my box. Everything on it is correct, as I always like to check that right away. I was worried a bit about that because when I had my biometrics, it was a mad house. I mean it was so bad security had to remove folks from the waiting room to a secondary room. I think I waited 2 hours and they were really rushing everything. It was just tap tap tap, picture, fingers, wait for sticker. Thank you very much wham bam. 😬

I have to say this card is so pretty compared to the last one, which was just a bland beige. This has the flag and statue of liberty on it. Even if I look like an inmate on my picture. 😂

Curious difference is the date of birth. Its now written the way we used to do it Germany, not how it usually is done in the US. Its day first and then month, but month in 3 letters. Old was just the numbers, but the usual US way.

I can breathe again. For now. Now on to N-400. 😬

So glad we can both breathe.  My biometrics went so fast.  Hardly anyone in there.  Actually chatted to a fellow Canadian while we waited.  My picture is so bad, I think they used the same one as my last card. LOL

Are you doing citizenship?  I was thinking about it as I can't imagine doing this when I'm old.

It is getting here tomorrow according to informed delivery. Thanks for asking.

I just had one more worry about them messing up the address, even though I changed it in December to my new one. 😜

Typing in the number into the case info page gives more up to date info than what is in my account. Go figure.

    Yay!!!  Good news.

Isn't that the truth. Been like this all my life though. Self inflicted freakouts. 😄

Yay. Glad you got it. Looks like mine is being made. I went to some other part of the site. The one were you just put in the case number to get a result, not the myuscis and there it says card being produced. So I have basically 3 different answers, depending on what part of the site or notification I am looking at.

I'll keep an eye out for the mail. I use informed delivery so I'll know.

Just curious, have you received your card?

I can't find the edit button anymore. 🤔

I just realized I got an email yesterday that they were still reviewing my case. Same one I been getting every friday for almost a year. And no other email, just the text. But I also see an email about a tools outage from yesterday until this morning. I hope this isn't just a mis fire text due to the tools outage, but real movement. I guess I'll find out on Monday.

I just checked our mail from yesterday and my Green Card has arrived.  I'm sure yours will be along in a few weeks.  It arrived in a priority mail envelope with a Lees Summit, MO return address.  We thought it was junk mail at first.  So glad I opened it.  LOL

Well I have some movement, but I have no clue what it is. I got a text saying Your case xxxxx is now updated. Check my case status at uscis.gov.

But when I sign in it doesn't have any update. I guess it just hasn't shown up in the account. Is that the initial notice you got? I get text and email updates.

I am guessing though its ready to go out.

Mine said:  We have taken an action on your account.  Please sign in.......

When I signed in it said  Your green card has been printed and something about a final review and then it would be mailed.

Good to know they are at least looking at yours now.

Thanks. I hope so too. I am not going to squabble about a week here and there with them, but I would like to get my card at some point. I am suppose to carry one with me at all time and its not really assuring to have an expired one. I still have  until August with my extension sticker.

I am just glad I have a drivers license already now and I am not moving again. There are services one needs an up to date GC for. It was hard enough to explain a few months ago to the DPS what that sticker on the back o my GC was for. I had to renew my license. Lots of waffling on her part and looking at the computer. She finally went ahead, but holy moly I can't function here without a car. Its a big Texas city, you have to drive just to eat. 😳

I am planning to visit my family in Canada this summer so I'm really glad mine is coming soon.   They gave me a piece of paper that states mine is extended just for the purpose of travelling but I wouldn't do it without an up to date card.  I'm in Wisconsin by the way.

Please let me know when you get yours.

Oh cool. My receipt date is July 30th. The date I filed and paid online. That is what the first letter said when they scheduled me for biometrics. That is the date I go by, right? Not the biometrics date.

Hopefully I am right behind you.

I got the receipt for payment dated  "Received July 9, 2018.  Then I received another Form I-797C when I signed up for an online account dated 7/12/2018.  So not sure which date they go by.  Mine are close together.  Can't find my biometic notification but it was only a couple weeks after.  It may have been in the July 9th notification.

I'm sure yours will come shortly.
