  1. Hows it going guys. My had her interview last year and eneterd the country Nov. 20, 2021. She still has no received her green card in the mail. We have updated our address and everything. Trying to call USCIS gives us an automated system that does no help. Do you all know what we should do?
  2. A Russian? I highly doubt you will get any type of torist visa
  3. You are a scholar and a gentlemen! I appreciate your feedback. I read that at the bottom of her visa and I figured much. Sadly, I couldn't be there with her when she crossed but its all clear. I apprecaite your help once again
  4. Thanks for the response. I don't quite understand what you mean by LPR. Just to be clear i'm talking about the IV expiration on her VISA in her passport. So what she did was fly out of toronto to the U.S. customs guy did their thing in toronto, stamped her passport and she flew her. She already received her social security number, just no card has come. She said the customs guy told her some stuff about expiration dates but of course she can't remember.
  5. Quick question: My wife's immigrant visa in her passport is about to expire next month in Februrary. She has not received her actual green card yet. Do you all know who I should get in contact with in order to see why it is taking so long?
  6. Question for you guys: My wife did her interview and has her passport back and the immigrant visa page is in it. She is due to fly from Toronto to Chicago where I will be picking her up to be here in the U.S. permanantly. I think I may have heard some talks of there bing another interview or something before she leaves at the airport. Is this true? Is ther anything else we should prepare her for? I want this to go as smooth as possible for her.
  7. Indeed!! Visa was approved Sept 17th! We will be updating the timeline and doing a review
  8. I have seen some interview reviews talking about they were asked to show "Proof of Visa Payment" What does that mean? I want my wife to be as prepared as possible for her interview.
  9. IL letter received!! Interview date is September 17th. I will update timeline soon
  10. I just took a covid test at some place at our mall and the person put a cotton swab in my brain basically. I hope it isn't one of those...
  11. = Good to see I have a DQ buddy here!! hahaha! Every dog has their day my friend...we will have ous soon!
  12. Okay, I figured so. That was also our concern, how long the police check was valid for. She said she was just going to get another one done anyways to stay safe. Thanks for everything!!!!
  13. Quick question. I keep hearing people talk about biometrics. When exactly is this supposed to be done? I'm not seeing anything trave.state.gov where the 12 steps are at. My wife nor myself has received anything telling her to get biometrics done so I'm a bit concerned. Is it not required for people coming from Canada to U.S?
