  1. I wouldn't worry too much. The service centers take turns being the fastest. VSC is also notorious for having weeks of inactivity, but it's usually followed by a healthy spurt of approvals. There's not a whole we can do to speed things up unfortunately, but if you kind of set your mind to the 6 month mark, & try to ignore the hiccups like this you will probably be pleasantly surprised. Good luck :)

  2. Joshua, I wish you the best of luck. I had the same fears. I literally made like $400 over the poverty line for a family of 6, which we are. I was terrified. Also, last year I made just under it & when you look at my taxes, I had so much other stuff taken out that reduced my taxable income that it looked scary as hell. I didn't think we were going to make it.

You know what? They didn't even look at my proof! I couldn't believe it lol.

I hope you get the same kind of luck :)

  3. We did it ourselves using the guides here at VJ and following the advice of the awesome members here. Don't waste your money on an attorney unless there is something outside the norm in your case. Make sure you ask for plenty of help/advice here. Don't be afraid to ask questions before you send in your documents!

Our process took 6 months from Noa1 to visa approval, & he should have his visa in hand Mon or Tues this week.

Good luck! I hope your processes is as fast as it can possibly be.
