I just realized that our AoS was approved exactly one year after our K1's first noa date (12.09.08). I'm going to go play the lottery with 12.09.09 tonight - and I'm bringing that pillow. hahaha

The touches on my AOS is overflowing but what about my EAD?

Wow, I wish they'd even breathe on my AOS. I'm not sure what all the touches are about, but I hope it's good news and that you get your EaD soon!

Ahaha we are a bunch of impatient freaks. 65 pages of threatening the mail man.

EAD Card production ordered 11.12 & AP approved the same day. YAHOOOO!

See, every time I threaten to take it out on the mailman I get a new notice. Hahaha. That must have been all that was missing.

Rebecca, we actually live pretty close to York, not in Philly. I'm not sure where our interview will be if we have one, but I'm hoping that we won't have an interview since our case was transferred to CSC.

Congrats on your bio letter though. Your appointment should be quick and painless, and hopefully time will fly til then!

Good news!!!! Today I received an email stating my i765 was returned(as expected) but I called and did a change of address the good news is the post office was able to track a letter from immigration and guess what letter it was?!!!

My biometrics!!!! I'm so relieved and excited! My appointment is nov. 19!!!

Funny fact! When I got it I told my husband I need to let my family know! He expected me to grab the phone and call somebody but I got on the computer and types www.visajourney.com and my husband laughed! Thanks all for the support!

..I was just thinking how crazy it is that the K-1 felt like it took so freaking long (even though I know we were pretty lucky with only a 6 month wait. Some waited so much longer.). Now, we only filed a few weeks ago if you think about it, and our first EAD and AP approvals will probably be coming out by next week. For some, AOS approval could be as little as 2 weeks away. That is insane! I remember thinking it would be another 4 month minimum, 1 year possibly, definitely an interview kind of process that I honestly was dreading having to trudge through again. I just don't feel like we can really be settled in our lives til this whole AOS thing is over with. I've been holding my breath for so long I don't know what it's like to breathe anymore. I can't wait to see how it feels.

We are a very lucky bunch.
