  1. Okay thank you all for your advise and concern. To those that made jest of us well I only hope you are perfect and without sin. I also want to appreciate those that messaged us in our inbox and told us how to go about it. God bless those that provided solution and also the judges. With that said, I would want this topic to be closed by the mods. Thanks once again! With love, YulandDee
  2. Yes we did. we will have more visits before the interview and we hope things go well for us as we have no red flag. He hasn’t gotten time off work to come again but he’s definitely coming again before my interview and will also be around on my interview day so yeah that makes three visits
  3. Maybe it was a lil confusing because of how I worded it. we got to know each other in November (Met online) Then we physically met in January, then filed in February. In the petition, we claimed we met online in July, then met physically in January. We didn’t lie about when we physically met as that can easily be detected through entry and exit stamps.

The lie is on when we actually got to know each other online. I hope I have cleared things up a bit. Thanks for all your responses
  5. I answered these questions in my post already. We lied because we actually met and got engaged just three months when we decided to file. We met in November, filed in February. We didn’t want anyone thinking it was too soon though it wasn’t too soon for us, we know we want to be together so we lied we met in July so it would seem like we met a long time ago
  6. Okay so my fiancé and I have made a mistake and we admit it was bad of us to have lied but we just thought it was something we had to do. we filed for the K1 visa in February and we stated that we met in July 2018 when actually and honestly, we met in November 2018. We thought our application might be denied because we filed too early and it might be seen as fake even though our relationship is one of the realest out there and we love each other. We are both Ghanaians but he was filed for by his dad and he relocated after high school. We met on Instagram. I, the beneficiary is scared that even if USCIS don’t care about when we met as long as we have physically met once within two years, the local embassy in Ghana might see that we are lying and thus deny our application. It is already too late to do anything and we deeply regret what we have done but you do anything for love right? We just want to be together and some of us actually know pretty quickly if someone is meant for us or not. Would the consulate know we lied? Is there a way they will know we didn’t actually meet in July or they wouldn’t know and they would just go with the story we presented? Please, let’s be humane with our responses. We know what we have done is wrong. Warm Regards, Yul&Dee
