Hello, We are in the process of applying for permanent residency in the Philippines under the 13(a) visa category, and we plan to submit our application through the Philippine Consulate. I am a bit confused about the police clearance certificate required as part of the application. We are currently residing in New York, and I would like to ask whether we need to obtain the clearance from our local police department or from the FBI. Thank you.
