  1. Do I need to fill out an I-485? Im so sorry for all the questions, thank you so much for helping me 😭
  2. How is it possible that some people get an answer back within 4-5 months and other people it’s like a year and a half!?
  3. I had one other question. While we are waiting for my husbands visa to go through is there anyway we can file for something else for him to be here until he does his Interview? I’ve seen a lot of people talking about it but don’t know what is required or that...
  4. Thank you very much, I’m new and trying to figure things out! I am applying for the right visa right? My husband and I have been married for less than 2 years, I’m in the US and he is still over in the uk. CR-1 right? Another question...When they talk about evidence of a bonafide marriage do I just include pictures, text messages, plane tickets to see each other? I see that they want evidence of water bills, ownership of things together, shared bank accounts. We don’t have any of those things since we have not lived together... so I’m assuming the other evidence of our relationship is okay?
  5. Does anyone have a check list on what is needed to complete the first part of the CR-1 visa? I’m so lost and just want to make sure everything is right...😔
  6. So I’m hoping to bring my husband over to America. A couple of things I want to make sure we are applying for the right visa! We have been married for less then two years and he lives in the uk. So the visa would be CR1 right? So first step... the check list for USCIS filing is Form 1-130 form G-1145 $535 check for the filing fee Cover letter do my husband and I have to both right a cover letter? What would a cover letter include) Primary proof of marriage (marriage certificate copy) Supplementary proof of marriage (ie. joint bank accounts, sworn witness statements) (my sister and mom were my witness at my wedding, would they be the ones to write a statement) Passport photos (petitioner & alien beneficiary) Proof of U.S. citizenship/permanent residency (birth certificate/green card) Evidence of all previous marriages ending (ie. death cert./divorce decree) Proof of legal name change (if applicable) Certified copies of police & court convictions, in compliance with IMBRA Send via trackable mail or courier Anything that I’m missing?? Thank you!!!
