Hobbesgirl got a reaction from roh0808 in Houston N-400 Filers
    Hi all

My husband and I received our Oath Scheduled messages and status changed online to "letter mailed" yesterday June 3rd 2019. The letters showed up in our accounts this morning after 24 hours, we have our oath ceremonies on July 10th 2019. Home stretch! We both had our interviews on May 22nd 2019 and were approved and handed the N-652 with approval.

Yesterday was our 1 year anniversary of filing the N400 application, was such an immense relief (and poetic!) to get the oath scheduled messages at the 12 month mark. Another 5 weeks to go for the oath ceremony but total time has been way way way better than we anticipated. Our estimated time to completion was May 2020, a full 24 months from filing. Thrilled that USCIS has sped up processing and we won't have to wait another year. And more than thrilled to get to the final chapter of our long immigration story,  first-generation immigration is so complex and nerve-racking isn't it...

Thank you very much everybody, for sharing your timelines, experiences and progress. It was invaluable. Ya'll made the prep, and the wait, so much easier. Congratulations to those who crossed the finish line this year and my best wishes to those of you in the process for the rest of your wait, there is a happily ever after in this ordeal so keep plodding along.

Now if you will all excuse me, I have some important decisions to make. Like what to wear for the oath ceremony, i'm thinking red skirt, white blouse and a blue scarf ? And where to holiday first with my newly minted US passport in the summer, Ireland or Morocco.
