    Good morning,

     

    Thanks for getting back to me.  My RFE is regarding a request for a General Waiver of Multiple filings (No criminal record). I had a cancalled petition in 2002 (Philippines) and then sent another petition in for someone else in 2003. I was married for 13 years to this person and she had an affair with a coworker and we divorced. I now have a 3rd petition. Unfortunately the attorney did to file a general waiver request.  The RFE basically says we need you to file a general waiver and include:

     

    * personal letters regarding the separation

    * general waiver 

    * affidavits from relatives and friends

      I have a statement saying our friends have always know us to be a loving couple.  Does this have to be backed up with something. Or since it is a personal letter is it ok?
