That's quick. I received my approval letter from CSC on June 1 and I still haven't received my card yet. I called USCIS in early August about the card, they told me to wait for another 2 weeks, but still not here. What do you guys think? Anything wrong?

Just a quick question. I received my Biometrics letter the other day. I got an appointment for Biometrics for AOS and then an appointment for Biometrics for my EAD. My question is will I receive my EAD that day? I have work lined up and want to let my employer know.

Just curious if USCIS will always send you Green Card 'Card Production Ordered' email or not

I just received emails on 'Welcome Notice' and 'Approval Notice Sent' 2 months ago, but not the 'Card Production Ordered' one.

The welcome notice is here, but not the Green Card... I wonder if it is get lost in mail or...

I received email from USCIS that my green card was sent on 29 June, 2007, but I never receive it by now.

Should I make an infopass appointment to see what happens first or is it the right time to file the I-90 for a new card? Or any other advice?

Thanks for your inputs....I had got my CA Driver's license in 2003 which expired in jan 2007 (I got it on the basis of my I94...no SS#) I got the renewal notice in Nov 2006 and was required to apply in person which was not possible. Hence I want to get it renewed....

As per DMV..the I94 needs to be valid for 60 days....

Normally how long does EAD take to happen??

EAD should be approved within 90 days in most of the cases.

Hi ! I went to DMV for my California driver's license and was turned back as I was unable to show my legal presence even though I have a SS# My I-94 is no longer good as it expires on Sept 20. The girl said I need to wait for the greencard or request USCIS for document proving my legible legal presence?? I told her I have applied for my greencard.

I do need a drivers license to move around here..and helps as an ID too

I use my EAD to apply for it, they don't accept any of the AOS NOA unless it is an approval notice.

I finally receive my EAD today! It has been a long journey for it to get to my mail box!!!

The card was sent on 28 June, but it was mailed to a wrong address, an address that messes up my old and new addresses(I changed it online in May)! The street & apartment numbers are of my new address, but the city and zip code are from the old address

It was returned to USCIS and re-sent to me on 13 July to my OLD address! Luckily I have filed for forwarding mail with the post office and it is in my hand today, FINALLY!

I hope my green card doesn't undergo the same journey! I am still waiting for it...

I'm all ready for my interview tomorrow...will review paperwork tonight and make sure husband remembers our marriage and wedding dates . He got them mixed up last week, but I think he's ok now. He does know where we honeymooned... and since my birthday is coming up I've been talking about our plans, so he's got that one down...check.

Hi...we are now filling out the G-325 A form for the AOS..at the bottom it asks for the Alien Registration #..is it the A# on the Visa?...also it asks for the file # at the top of the page..is this also the A#????...Thanx very much!

Yes, Alien Registration number is the same as A# and the file # at the right top corner of the form.

You can find it in the NOA-2 of the I-129F petition, it is the number above the name of the beneficiary and it should also be written in the visa/I-94 at POE to the US.

Okay I'm holding hope still everyone... The mail person just might bring my approval notice today... my fingures are crossed.... cross yours for me!!

I got my EAD and Advance Parole about a week after the approval e-mail from USCIS.

For those of you who have received EAD card production emails, have any of you actually received the card yet? Wondering about how long from production order to receipt. I haven't seen Burke's update list in awhile. But the posts are probably flying in faster than she can type 2 weeks and 2 days until our interview.

I got a little excited after seeing so many EAD cards ordered and so I went to check the website and found ours was updated today to 'card production ordered' too... That machine must be smoking.

Just to clear things up, the NOA date on our list is the date on the Notice or is it the date we received the NOA in the mail??

It is written on the notice that I have to send them back the request for reschedule, I wonder if I can call them or do a walk-in to the center?

My appointment day will be on 1 May, but I will move to California with my husband on 29 Apr since he will have a new job there. Any advice from you?

Call the USCIS service center to notify them that you're moving from VA to CA and ask them for re-schedule the date and place of your biometric. Send also the form AR-11 (change of address) with your USC spouse letter concerning the reason of moving. I did this before coz' my husband was relocated also from AL to CA, and I've waited another 1 month before I received the schedule for biometric and interview ( coz' i did the same thing asked them a re-schedule of my interview) here in CA. By the way, I sent the form AR-11 thru certified mail to make it sure I have a proof sending that form.

I know in NY (well, 10 years ago) they were only $25. I can't imagine that the price has more than at least doubled...right?

In Colonie, Albany County, where my parents got married, the price is 40.00 according to their website.

I'd rather get married at Clearwater Beach than in dreary NY though ^.^

We paid 93.50 plus the 30 for them to perform the service.

I get a few certified copies from the courthouse and file one with my AOS.
