  1. hello VJ Community
I know that Ap delays and each case is different.
I'm on AP since August 5, 2019, I received 6 updates and then ready on December 18th, update on December 20th and then on December 23th,  again AP.
please if someone had been in a similar case could you help me. I am a scared, 5 months away from my family 2 daughters and my husband. (Nicaraguan Embassy IR1).Thank you in Advance.

  2. Hi.. @Rmv2019The co told me that it was approved, but I needed my marriage certificate from the Supreme Electoral Council (I had the one from the mayor of Managua) and gave me a green paper indicating what I needed to send and it was 221g, I asked him how long it would take the process and told me that two weeks. My appointment was on the 5th, I sent the document on August 6 and they told me that the embassy would receive it the next day that it would be on August 7. My status does not change, I have sent them mail but they do not give me an answer if they received the document. I am from Managua and I am waiting for my process here. I already have 2 months here and nothing.
Waiting for an answer from the embassy is the most frustrating part.
The most painful part is that I am without my family, my two daughters and my husband. God willing and have news soon.

Hi, thank you for sharing. I sent an email, same response. I think they must be really delayed because they were closed most of 2018. I can't think other reason why. I hope your case gets a solution soon. I am certainly praying and will pray for you. I miss my husband. Thank you

Thank you.. :) I will pray for you too. Any news let me know.

August 27 - Case status changed to Administrative Processing

September 25 - Case date changed, message remained the same

October 1 - Case status changed to Ready for interview

October 2 - 9:00am case status changed back to Administrative Processing

October 2 - 12:00pm case status changed to Issued - now waiting for notice that his passport has been shipped and ready for pickup

We were very happy to see the case status change to Issued.  His work visa expired the end of February 2018 and he has been gone ever since.

Congratulations!!  What country is the visa issued?

  5. Hi.. do not have news yet, I sent an email yesterday asked if I had any news of my case, I sent the required document and needed to know some information.

They sent me an answer saying that it was still in process and could take up to 180 days after I sent the required documents. This is desperate. I have my two daughters with my husband and how complicated it is for him. I don't understand the reason for the delay. please any news you have let me know. God help us.

  6. Hello.. I am in the same AP since august 5 2019 In Managua. Did your husband received his visa? How long was the waiting time on AP for him?

My husband had his interview in Managua on May 8th, i was with him and the consul said "congratulations" yet "he needs a police paper from his natal city (Esteli) before i send all this paper to issues his green card" (he showed the police record from Managua). So he sent the paper and his passport next day, and the embassy got them by may 10th since then the only information is that they still "reviewing" the papers. The last two updates June 3th and 7th says "Ready" but ready for interview. When I call to have more info they just says still reviewing  the papers and I have to wait for an email. I would like to know if someone had the same experience in Managua and what else i can do ??

but you need to send me a New Marr

Please, who can share with me same situation and what to do?? My husband has almost 2 months being in AP. Last month update was "Ready". Today, once again Administrative Processing. Sometimes, I think is a good think because they are checking his case but it had been so many updates and nothing happened yet.

Hi.. I am in the same situation on AP since August 5 2019. any update for your husband?

  8. Hello everyone: I went to the interview on August 5, 2019 in Managua, Nicaragua.

I interviewed the consul and told my husband that he waits a moment and he asked me the following questions:
    1. How many times to enter the USA
    2. How we met
    3 when we got married
    4. where my daughters were born.
When he finished asking me he asked me for the transcripts of the taxes, and I called him to ask him:
    1. how we met
    2. How did the marriage ask me
    3. When we got married. Everything went well in the interview, and he told me that he was approved by him but he needed the marriage certificate, because the one I was carrying was not from the civil registry. and gave me the green paper saying it was 221g. I sent the correct marriage certificate on August 6 and my case still goes through an administrative process. I wanted to know if someone in this forum has gone through the same situation and how long their case has taken. Thank you
