Well more news,

I sent the RFE info back last week, and i knew they got it on Wednesday, but they didnt mention anything. Nothing on the USCIS portfolio, but however an email arrived tonight at about 10pm and it told me they had got it (although the online portfolio is still not updated..

So now things are resumed, and my timeline continues,

March 2nd- sent package

March 7th- Receipt date/ checks cashed

March 13th- TOUCH for AOS and EAD

March 15th- TOUCH for AOS and EAD

March 15th- Notice of Biometrics for March 28th

March 16th- RFE for AOS posted online, still waiting for the actual letter in mail

March 17th- TOUCH for EAD.

March 23rd- RFE letters arrived.

March 28th- Had Biometrics, all went smoothly.

March 29th- TOUCH for AOS and EAD

March 31st- TOUCH FOR AOS/EAD

April 2nd - RFE information mailed off, should arrive to them in a couple of days...

April 3rd- TOUCH FOR AOS/EAD....

April 4th- The RFE package arrived according to USPS website

April 9th- Informed that case processing has been resumed.

No worries flutter... I didn't get any touches until after my Biometrics. And, each touch has been for something significant. Also, it appears that I am very pleased with my local office being so quick with giving me my interview letter. Good luck to my fellow March filers... now just to put all the evidence together.....

Hey everyone!

They cashed our checks yesterday and I was trying to add them to my case status "portfolio" by using the numbers on the back of our checks. Should my receipt number be the same on ALL checks or will they be different for each person (husband and 2 stepsons) and for each application (I-485, I-130, I-765, I-131)?

There is one common # that starts with 07 on each check that is between 2 "arrows" (><), but it is only 9 digits long. ALSO there is a number beginning with "MSC07XXXXXXXX" and they are sequential on the TEN checks we sent.

My husband tried ALL combinations and has pulled most of his hair!

He has a INFOPASS appointment later today for his Emergency Advance Parole.

I searched topics and posts but any direct pointers would be helpful!

yes,i paid for third time .(second time for "motion to reconsider') which denied as well! for no resean.

How about efile.Does immigration office accept efile tax return?

PS;I called USCIS ,the guy didnt know anything regarding tax!

RFE:"to obtain return transcripts of income tax,complete form 4506-T ans send to IRS" .but we have already our tax return by another form(E.tax) ,besides it takes several weeks till we send this form(4506-T)and obtain another tax return.What should we do?Is this Etax enough?

I am ready to mail my RFE ;tax&financials issues,but bcs i am not sure if it is the exact thing they want or not ,can i check with an imm. officer or go to an attorney.RFE didnt say what was exactly my missing documents ,just 3 pages of explanation regarding tax & financial issues.and mentioed we are in poverty line inspite we are absolutly not.Do they send everyone these general papers?

I had a RFE email which haven't received in mail yet,but i hope it be tax issue,bcs i have sent 2005 tax return plus 2006 W2 .Do they may want 2006 tax return for recent filers?

I have applied when i got married for AOS 2.5 years ago but denied bcs of incomplete vaccination.Now i reapplied without fiance approval notice bcs it is in my old denied file.local DHS officer told me k1 recept number which is in my passport in enough,but now ,they send me a RFE requesting k1 petition approval letter.What should i do?ps;i have filed concurrently for duplicate copy of fiance approval notice with my i-485 petition.

Send them the approval notice (NOA2). If you don't have it, you can obtain a replacement for about $200. Follow instructions on form I-824.

I did file for i-824 and paid 200$ along with new AOS petition.but apparently i should wait about 6 months till i receive duplicate approval fiance petition.so,this new AOS may cancel.
