Does anyone know if after the case reaches "ready to be scheduled for interview" status if the processing time depends on the local office at that point?

I was transferred to my local office since 2019 supposedly for an interview but the letter does not detail anything could simply be an interview that they would let me know.  So far no news I've been waiting for 20 months

I understand but it doesn't make sense that you're gonna wait again as a new MSC case .. you have to call to make sure. Good luck and please let us know.

I'm not expecting to have my exact 19.5 what California service center says my case was transferred to nbc but when I called in June they told me that my case is still csc because it's WAC, do you understand?

I think you might be still on California's Processing time which is 19.5 months maximum.  So in 2 weeks you can submit an “outside normal processing time” service request.

If California service center is up to 19.5 months but my case was transferred to NBC in May, is it still from California?  my receipt number has not changed and starts with "wac"

Is processing time the time it takes to get a "ready to schedule for interview"?  If so, our MSC processing time was about 3 months.  Now already waiting about 3 1/2 months in "ready to schedule for interview" mode.

my case was in California service center and it was transferred to NBC since that was almost two months I have 19 months waiting and I have not received news yet

All you can do is wait. The case will go to local office and they’ll let you know if they need to interview you or not. If your case is out of processing time, submit an inquiry.

to the local office?  The letter they sent me says that due was transferred to nbc it does not say that my local office.  my receipt starts with "WAC" which is California center I have to take the time from there or from NBC which is Nebraska?  I'm going to 19 months on July 21 is the maximum time

My wife's case still says that, too, on the new USCIS site.  On the old site, it says "Case si ready to be scheduled for an interview".......Try checking the old site at

your wife is removing the conditions of the i751 residence?  I have 18 months waiting and I have not received any news I did biometrics in June 12

It’s May be because they are gonna reuse your previously captured biometrics, I observe some people getting letter stating this

I received a letter that would reuse my fingerprints earlier in February 2019 and then on May 24 I was ordered to make new biometric prints after I had been told no!  I have 18 months waiting

That's super frustrating. We don't even know what the processing time is for those of us who were sent directly to MSC is, there isn't even an official processing time available.

Is 18 months within normal processing time for Vermont? Have you tried calling USCIS to see what the deal is? That just seems like such a long wait time to me, and now you're at MSC...seems crazy long.

I am in the same situation I am Wac and my case was sent to NBC I already have 18 months in waiting and I went to biometrics footprints on June 12 2019

From what I've seen, K-1 visa holders have been going to Texas, Vermont, California and Nebraska. It seems all CR-1 visa holders are being routed directly to MSC (National Benefits Center in Missouri). There is no official data about this from USCIS about I-751's at MSC...we're just going based off of the data people have been posting here.

Feel free to add your case to @missileman's spreadsheet:

I appreciate all hard work you put into this.

And again thank you for categorizing it aswell.

Something really not so cool about new office has jurisdiction is my friend who filed 18 month ago, has a status with new office jurisdiction and its been like that for 365 days now.

My case was transferred to NBC on May 29.  I'm from California service center December 2017.  my receipt number starts with WAC and I am 18 months old and the letter sent to me says that you may send me an interview

Hi Mario and everyone else with a WAC number, have you tried calling the uscis toll free number? I also received that notice about transferring to LS, MO for interview. When I call the number and enter my WAC it says transferred to Laguna Niguel.

    Weird

    Jan 18 filer here.

I call us yesterday yesterday I am December 2017 Wac, I was transferred on May 29, 2019 to NBC, national benefits center, they told me that my case is handled by the California service center to start with the WAC receipt number, to you too  Did they send you that same letter they could give an interview?  I was sent to make biometric prints on June 12, 2019

Your local office decides if an interview is required or not.  If required, they will send you an interview notice.

I hope I'm a little excited to know what will happen, yesterday after 18 months I had biometrics traces that's a good sign.  I sent many evidence when we sent the i751 and I still have more evidence in case I get to go to interview

  13. 9 minutes ago, gregcrs2 said:

NBC does not approve your case.  They only put your case file together and your local office can only do the interview.  Most likely, you can plan on having an interview.

the letter says that they have seen my case preliminary and that they will let me know if I will have an interview or not!  I hope and have no interview although I have everything in order with my wife

My original case is from California service center?  When you talk to me about my local office, is the state I live in?

YOU don't schedule an interview.  Your file is being processed at NBC.  When it is ready, they will contact your local office that it is ready to be scheduled for interview.  Your local office decides when.  It could be weeks or months until your local office is ready to schedule your interview.

I still do not have an interview, the letter says that they will probably do an interview that they will let know, now with so many evidences that I sent when I entered the i751 and yesterday I did biometrics they think they will approve me or give me an interview
