Even if I do not claim my son on my taxes?

Hello, I had question concerning dependents hopefully someone can help  me. I plan to file k1 for my fiancee. I know that will make 2 dependents.  I have a son who currently lives with my mother as I am working two jobs and it's just easier this way.  My mother has claimed my son on her taxes as her dependent since he does live with her. She does not have legal guardianship.  And he does stay with me the days I am home.  Would I be ok to file 2 dependents or should I claim 3? Thanks for any feedback! 😊

Hello, was curious what ever happened with your case? Am afraid my future spouse and I will end up in AP over tax transcripts. We currently do not have a sponsor but have some time to hopefully find one. Thanks for any feedback you may.
