I read somewhere that photos are no longer required at the NVC stage but at the interview.

Trying to confirm that but can't seem to get much help.

Let me know if you find out something

I am glad you asked this question as I’ve been wondering the same thing myself.

We had read the same but when it came time to upload/submit documents, it requested a photograph...so, we just uploaded one passport sized photo to be safe.

I really do wonder why some people are lucky and seem to get reviewed within a week to ten days or less. It makes no sense and there seems to be no pattern to it.

There doesn’t seem to be much rhyme or reason. I would like to believe that maybe they try and review cases that had much longer processing times at USCIS first, but I doubt that is the case.

Did you correct anything in those 3 docs? Didn’t they tell you what was wrong with them ?

Not really. They got rejected with the response saying that basically the documents were missing sides/pages and/or stamps. Though none of them were. All had all the pages and official stamps included. We just resubmitted the same documents with added comments because it wasn’t clear what exactly they were looking for. 🤞

You got CC within the same day you submitted your docs.  That’s pretty awesome. Congrats.

I’ve noticed that happens for some people too.

Will be nice to have the same happen , 😁,  wishful thinking here.

It was definitely a surprise to see that our case had been reviewed the same day. Though they did reject 3 documents for an unknown reason, so no CC yet. 😑 We have resubmitted and crossing fingers for another quick review.

    Wishing you the same!! 😃

Thanks for your reply ..how recent is this?

Yesterday our AOS documents were accepted.

Under Part 6 on the I-864, you only put the person/sponsor’s income that you are using. Even if they are married and file jointly, you do not have to include their spouse’s income if the one spouse qualifies on their own. Just make sure that the sponsor submits their W2s as proof that he/she alone meets the income requirements. If you list the spouse, then yes, they must complete an I-864A.

Are you sure about this? I read somewhere if the my husband's father 's income is sufficient we don't need his mother to sign i864a coz we are not using her income? Know of anyone with similar experience ?

I don’t believe that’s correct. We used a joint sponsor who files jointly with spouse, but we’re not using his income. The joint sponsor only filled out the I-864, and it has been accepted.

  7. Hi,

Has anyone had submitted documents rejected with the reason stated as “We are unable to accept this document as uploaded without all sides of every page. Please replace this document in its entirety and/or with all stamps visible.” ?

We had 3 documents rejected with this response, even though all pages with all official stamps were included. Not sure what to replace them with?

    Thank you!
