  1. The reason why I posted here is because there’s more people on this thread and I would have better chance getting an answer quickly. It shouldn’t matter which category my post belongs to, if it’s IR1/CR1 or IR5.... the process of my question is the same! I just needed help and you basically threw it out. Very rude!
  2. Hi guys, I’m just preparing myself and gathering paperwork for NVC and interview. I need advice and help regarding previous divorce papers. My daughter is filing for me and she only has certified copies of my divorce papers from USA, does she need to mail the originals to me for me to bring to my interview where it will be in UK? OR can I just bring photocopies to my interview? I’ve lost my original and there’s no way I can get them again unfortunately. If anyone knows and can guide me I would appreciate it!! Thank you 🙏🏼

  4. I believe you are correct also. Every country has there own rules and guidelines. It’s hard to keep up when they always change laws and makes people like us so confused! Some sites do not state every information unless you do full research. Thank you for the heads up. I can understand and appreciate others trying to help as this whole process is ridiculous. All we want to do is unite with our loved ones 💕
  5. Thank you! Although I didn’t see time frame I have seen extra info that was very useful. Much appreciated!
  6. Thank you... I’ve checked it out but nowhere have I seen 6 months or any time frame?
  7. Hi friends, I’m hoping someone could help me! It’s regarding my birth certificate. I need to submit translated birth certificate, which I have but it’s from 20 years ago and was translated by New York Consulate General. Will this be accepted as I’m not in my own national country. I currently live in UK and cannot get an original one:( If anyone knows anything about acceptance of documents translated from Consulates, please help? Much appreciated
  8. Hi friends I’ve received an email that my case was approved!!! Case status still shows case received but https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ has been updated. case IR-5 -TSC /Pd-09/25/2018 Approval May 14, 2019. I couldn’t find forum for parent filers for September so I figured I share on here. Either way it’s immediate relative lol 😂 I’m wishing everyone victory! Your time will come have faith and trust the process. Everyone has their timing and with great patience there’s victory!😁
  9. Congrats to you both! Hoping for speedy victory for all September filers! Just curious, has the USCIS updated as approved? My pd -September 25 and there are a few case approvals for that date and couple cases has been sent to NVC I’m hoping my case will be approved soon too! Lol 😂
