My wife file is with the United State Embassy in Khartoum. They've scheduled once, and rescheduled due to civil unrest.  The Embassy  restarted their services few months, but we still have not heard back from them .

What should I do ..?

Due to the civil unrest in Sudan, my wife still waiting on her appointment. Does any one know the average time waiting in Sudan, USA embassy in Khartoum ..?

She was originally scheduled for the interview on June 19th. The embassy suspended all of the services due to civil unrest. I tried to move the case to neighboring countries, but they have started the services.

Please advice, if you know the average waiting time.

Bad news. My wife got an interview scheduled at the USA Embassy in Sudan. However, due to the issue in Khartoum, the Embassy is closed for public Service as of yesterday. Any idea what should I do …? They may be close for A LONG TIME.

What I would do in this case is to call DHL directly and see if they can edit the name for you.

How long did it takes the interview to get scheduled..? What is the timeline..? My case is ready for scheduling since April 26th.

Here is my estimated timeline:

Filled for I-130 : August 20th, 2018

Approved in January 15th

NVC received the Document on February 4th 

Documentary Qualified on April 26

Location : Sudan

Morning All,

I received an email on Friday that all documents are qualified and the NVC will work with the Embassy where my wife is. The question I have, how long it usually takes to get the interview scheduled ..? Secondly, is there a website for tracking or checking the status beside CEAC ..?

I have uploaded the last information requested on the 16th. Do you know estimated the wait time ..? All of the other documents shows accepted. 

I still have not received an email of the case completion.

Any one knows when is the best time to call NVC..? My paper works are completed few weeks ago, and still no update. What is the wait time ..?

Yes, I got that, but why they change it to FNU, and she has a first name on the passport and birth certificate. Is that a common practice ..? 

Thank you for all of the replies. I got more request from NVC to send additional documents. All is send and submitted. However, I noticed they change my wife name to FNU, and then all of her name. Is that a problem ..?

Please let me know how long usually takes NVC to process Affidavit of support and civil documents. All have been submitted per the NVC request.

I wish you all the best. I submitted the Affidavit of support, but still working on the DS260. NVC had a problem with withdrawing the money from my account, but I see this morning, they were able to deduct the (120+325), but still disable. I am not able to submit the DS-260 yet.

NVC will send the expedite request to the Embassy and they will decide whether to accept it or not.  They are very accommodating to expedite requests.  They are not as strict as USCIS.

Your priority date is very close to mine. My Priority date is August 10th 2018. Any idea how long will takes after submitting Affidavit of support and DS260 ..?

How long does it take NVC to withdraw the money from the account. It has been over 3 days now.

Is there are any ways to expedite  your NVC case ..?
