i will have my aos interview soon, but me and my hubby doesn't have a bank statement together, i don't have my ssn yet, seems like we could not do much without it, i only have marriage contract, pictures, the evidence i brought in my k1 interview, home owners policy yeah my name is there, and my health insurance card is married name, i am not even in the bills yet , but i have some purchases online / reciept w/ our names , postal mail in both names. will i be fine?

i had the same experience, we went to ssa office, i brought all the important docu , i went there 3 weeks after i arrived in USA last november, but the lady just insist that i need an employment auth for them to give me an ssn, so i just waited till my real ead arrived , and when my ead arrived we went to ssa office and they told me to wait 30-60 days before i can have a card coz they still need to verify my identification. i have been in the US for 5 months now, no ssn , no state id, nothing, no job, but so far i traveled half part of USA w/o those, but i kept bringing my passport though, gosh! , but it made me and my hubby hang around and enjoy our time together. good luck!

oh my Gosh....!!!!! 196 days??? aaaahhhhh i better expect the worst huh so that if i recieved the gc earlier than 2 yrs after interview its a great surprise. well........

as long as signature matches her important documents/ id's it will be fine, i even have my initials and signature the same, no problem. your fiance is fine dave. good luck.

they said the FBI namechecks will also depend on the country of residency of the intending immigrants, how about philippine citizen? did you guys had an experience of long wait for FBI namechecks?

Hi guys , i just recieved my ead , me and my hubby went to local ssn here in colorado, the guy there told us that it takes 30-60 days for me to recieved my card coz they will check my records in the office who gave me those docu/ID's i showed to them. Is this normal?

does anybody here experienced an AOS interview in Denver, Colorado? hope you can share your experience, it will ease the tense i feel.

hi there guys, i don't have an ssn yet, and aos and ead is pending, my question is that, if the EAD will come first would it be enough for me to get an SSN? or should i wait for the GC? if only EAD comes first then when i get an SSN should i use my married name?
