i don't have anything to prove i sent my GC beside my usps tracking number. heres another waiting period huh.

Hi there guys, i sent my GC 1 month ago for correction, i didn't heard from uscis yet, does uscis also update the portfolio or case online during correction process? or not? I sent my original GC and don't have a stamp on my passport since i didn't scheduled infopass and no stamp during interview, now that i sent my GC already can i still go for infopass and stamp my passport? its just a hassle to me coz i always go down to el paso tx, thru almagoro albuquerque and the border patrol people always give me a test questions, they maybe thought i am a smuggled alien. lol. they ask for identifications good thing i have a ssa and ead card. gosh!

i sent my card and i-90 last july 6, 2007 , haven't heard anything from uscis yet.

i wonder how long is the waiting again.

gggrrrrrrrrr, uscis are giving me a high blood pressure. wish i will not have a heart attack soon and not evaporate or i turn out to be a ghost in their offices.

i got my card just today, and my husband said i dont have to sweat on it, if ssa and dmv will accept it then it doesnt matter , the name is right anyway just that they put too many names, my first name, my moms maiden name, my single last name and my married last name total of 4 names, and my ead and ssa only have 3 names. oh well......

if your wife dont have an ITR that is difficult, but if your wife have a property house, lot/land, car on her own name then you can use it probably. the best option is to find a co-sponsor. goodluck.

In case theres an error in my name in my GC, i wanna fix it and wanna schedule an infopass, theres a choices on the reason in the site should i answer , change permanent resident card? or talk to an immigration officer? hope somebody here can share some idea specially those who had an infopass. thanks

hi i received my welcome notice but theres an error on it, example only when i was single my name is

First Name: CHERYL

Middle Name: RUIZ

Last Name: PALA

when i got married:

First Name: CHERYL

Middle Name: PALA

Last Name: SMITH

all my USA documents like EAD, SSN shows CHERYL PALA SMITH , now when i had my AOS interview the interviewer put RUIZ in my paper now i recieved my welcome notice it says, CHERYL RUIZ P. SMITH , my problem is that how can i fix this? since my EAD and SSN Card says only CHERYL PALA SMITH , and also i don't want to have problem when i get a Philippine Passport.

Im totally confuse, somebody have an idea?

I notice some approved application here, receieved a notice of card production notice first than the welcome letter for a new permanent resident, am i right? I recieved a CRIS email last june 21 that they sent the welcome letter on june 19, but i never recieved a card production ordered notice yet is this normal?

is the welcome letter different from approval letter?

i am a february filer's too, just today i got an email from CRIS welcoming a new permanent residence, still waiting for the GC to come in the mail though. timeline below.

thanks guys, i will send my employment letter on june, my employer told me they will help me as much as they can. thanks again. happy spring / summer time to all.

I had my AOS interview in Denver last may 4 and the interviewer questioned the error in my birth certificate and some more questions but it was ok, but my gc is still pending, she requested an employment letter from my employer, my husband is under ssdi and only make 14k last year she said a household for 2 is 17k so i need to prove that i can make at least 3k for us to reach 17k, i said yes i can submit it right away i will just ask it from my employer, but she said she doesn't want me to submit right away coz im just new in my job, she said she want me to submit it on june, so i have until august 8 to submit that employment letter. Basically the USCIS Denver is not crowded and very in order. She never asked for pictures, bank statement and etc, she only ask about my birth certificate, hubby's ITR and my Job, gggrrrr i had a huge file. well....... I hope i will have a positive response from her as soon as i submit the initial requirements.....wish me luck guys........

i had the same problem during my few weeks in USA ssa insist to the max that they cant give me an ssn coz no ead, so i just didnt force them, i waited for my ead before i got my ssn and my interview is may 4 and my husband just added me in his bank account yesterday since wells fargo also didnt allow him to add me until i had my ssn and ead. good luck to us! probably beside the basic requirements i will also bring our netflix membership, triprewards hotel card, letters from my family and from his family, pictures and all the receipt from our online purchases. hi guys, my husband is sick this time and our AOS interview is on May 4th, seems we could not make it, i want to reschedule our interview, i just wanna ask if can i make or send a letter which is hand written? did somebody tried to made a resechedule letter before? whats the format and maybe the body of the letter?

should i send it to my service center which is MSC/NBC or to my local office in Denver CO.?

any ideas that helps is appreciated.

mine is may 4, tax transcript? is that necessary? oh well i will just bring everything on what i sent to uscis with the application, i didn't had an rfe, so maybe this people just want to ask something, so guys use your convinsing power and sensible humor, it might work.
