I'm applying for the Police clearance certificate (PCC)  in India, we are required to do it on this website http://www.passportindia.gov.in/  (passport seva), the application asks for purpose of PCC. there are different options to click  i'm confused which one to go (but sure option 4,5 and 6) kindly guide me exact option to choose

    Purpose for PCC is required:

    1.Citizenship Nationality application

    2. Education/Research

    3.employment visa/ work permit

4.immigration purposes other than work permit

    5 Long term visa/stay

    6. Residence permit

    7. Tourist visa

    8. Others.

  2. HI one of my friend got her welcome letter lately month a ago. she is a lpr. she noticed her visa class is C21. At that time of getting welcome letter ,her marriage anniversary was less than two years.

i can understand that C21(visa with conditions and remove the condition before 2 years end ) and her marriage anniversary crossed 2 years already ..

right now she is in NVC stage submitted a docs and waiting for DQ .... what kind visa will be issued to her husband at the time visa interview..  plz awaiting for your response..

it says "there are not enough applicants who are actively pursuing final action "

so imo they are trying to get those who are processed and are ready to file but just waiting for the priority dates to be current, to get their interviews done. And once they have had enough of those to meet their FY target they will figure out where to reintroduce the priority date for the start of the new fiscal year

    xactly i agree this........

I would just add that there is no "approval date". Petitions from various months are being processed at any time. Somebody who applied a month after you could be approved first, and those that applied before you may still be waiting when yours gets approved. There are various reasons for this (individual worker priorities/experience/availability, background checks, etc.).

If your case is outside normal processing times (as noted in the link above), you can request a service inquiry.

Just as another note, the I-130 processing is likely not the limiting factor. Even if USCIS approved your case today, it would just sit at NVC waiting for your PD to become current.

    thanks
