    NOA1 is almost 2 months old now :) The time really has kinda flown in a weird way...

    And it is just under 5 months until I get married - how scary is that?!?!?!?!

    Yes you are right the time past hopefully but so slowly when everyday several times a day you are waiting and hoping that when you will get on the USCIS you will see something new about your case. :crying:

    I really hope everything will be fine for your wedding , today gives me hope because like I sayed already a bunch of May fillers has been approved and it is good for us too if they start back to work a little bite faster ( or should i say "if they start back working point :lol: )

    Lets pray that your embassy will be fast when they will receive our file I wish you the best :star:

    And I want to send NOA2 vibes to everyone waiting ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    My personnal opinion is that in fact what counts about the date is not the more important thing here,

    we are on a friendly place trying to support each other while we wait for our visa, we try to give hope when one of us is done and to help those who need it. (F)

    The timeline is there for that and everyone is aware that it is just a help this won't give you the perfect prediction on when you will have NOA2 or K1.... :no:

    (L) I love this place it helps me keeping on, and i love being able to go peek at May fillers place and chair all the joy like today when around 10 of them suddenly received their approval... It was so good to chair that joy and to discover that the california center is back on work.... :dance: :dance: :dance:

    I guess they deserve a bit of advance notice so to speak :) It means they may get their NOA2 before us but it might also mean they take longer to sort out all the stuff that could take some of us a few weeks :)

    *tries to be altruistic for some good karma :D*

    If by "sorting out all the stuff" you mean trying to stay alive and possibly crossing a closed border into Syria, then yeah, I think they deserve a little extra consideration. I don't begrudge them their fast approval for 1 second. Their situation sort of puts our worries about missing wedding dates and spending holidays apart into perspective doesn't it?

    That last comment is a general comment and I direct it at myself as well as to everyone else. I hope no one will think I am attacking them. :unsure:

    No you are right they deserve it... And anyway our turn will come and one of these month this place will be full of post about approval :dance:

    well for us it is a little bite easier since we are going to be married in our little town in us. so we know the place we want and we are pretty sure that their will be some Saturday free in the 90 days, finding a musical band there is easy so no trouble we already have both all the wedding clothes. In fact we have buy a lot of little things so that is not going to be in our way when we will be "rushing" a little bite. So we choose non-real flowers and we have them already, we talk to the pastor and we are going to do the pre-wedding lesson in December when I'll visit Cyril, and we have already friends that are ready to prepare our cold buffet....

    You are right it is stressful, but in comparison to have my K1 in hand well it deserve 100 to have some stressful time.

    Hope you will find a solution and that you will be soon with your love one

    Current Status: Approval notice sent.

    On September 18, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

    I just received email that my application has been APPROVED. :dance::dance::dance:

    Finally!!! My application was approved and I know there might be some people who filed earlier than myself but have not received approval yet. Sorry if I may have cut in line. But I am ecstatic now. :dance::dance:

    I am sure yours are also around the corner. I didn't get one touch since NOA1 and all of a sudden, I received NOA2 approval email unexpectingly.

    CONGRATULATIONS!!!

    Our lucky day was a wednesday and hopefully today will be the lucky day for those of you who are still waiting :thumbs:

    I'm wanting (and has always been the plan) to head over 1st week in march. Initially that seemed no problem at all, now all we can do is hope. Well wedding not booked until 3rd may...surely that's do-able....probably just cursed it now...LOL..well if you don't laugh you cry.

    I still think it would be great if some of us several UK-ers got our interviews same day!

    I'm sure that would be nice for you UK'fillers to have interview on the same day who knows miracle happens

    I wishes you all the best in this awful waiting time ... One day it will be just memories and we will be with our love one :thumbs:

    But none of these people filed in July. They may have got their NOA1 in July but they filed way before then. Y & T have a special case because the beneficiary is from Cuba.

    Sorry then i must have misunderstood something I was thinking that the NOA1 was in fact telling you that the USCIS has open your file at that time and since they are in the list of july.... I'm sorry didn't mean to give wrong hope :blush:
