    Social Economic Status(Poor, Rich, Middle):

Relationship Status(Single, Married, In a Relationship, Complicated):

    2. Who are involve in cyber relationships?

    3. What are the advantages of cyber relationships?

    4. What are the disadvantages of cyber relationships?

    5. Have you been into a cyber relationship? If Yes, how was it? If No, do you have any plans to have one?

    6. Does a cyber relationship leads to serious relationship?

    7. What can you say about these people who are involved in cyber relationships?

    8. Will you recommend this kind of relationship to your friends?

  2. Propensity = An innate inclination; a tendency.

what if the employer wants someone to be evaluated regarding his work performance from the previous job like this:

    Excellent Good Fair Comments

    Punctuality

    Propensity for violence

    Propensity for Discrimination

What does the highlighted words refer to: does it refer to a positive attitude or negative? If the employer checked the excellent should this mean that the person has the tendency to be violent? or tendency to discriminate? I just want to help someone because she was confused... Or just dont check anything there just leave it blank

  3. hi all i just want to know your idea about the meaning of propensity? The complete word is PROPENSITY FOR VIOLENCE..i ask this because i have a friend who asked this to me because she was confused about it.... does this statement mean that you have the TENDENCY TO BE VIOLENT? or you have the tendency to behave in a violent situation.. thanks

  4. sister claudeth, is tired of golf...i am sure there will be new exercise equipment coming to your home...

We had a couple of "incidents" at the course a couple of months ago so she has stopped going for a while. She beat up one of the 'A' flight members and then I was hit in the left cheek by a golf ball so she doesn't what that to happen, that is for sure! And she is worried that she might loose it again and beat that fellow up. It was actually comic to watch, she is 4'8" and Tom is 6'5"

oh my gosh is this true? small but terrible...

  5. is there someone here know what's the number of SSN office? do i need to go to SSN office to have a SSN or ill just wait until my permit to work before i go to SSN office. im sorry im so confused and i really need to work so i can help my husband. pls. help me people and advice me.

hi darin, where you from? im also a filipina.. in your case just go to your nearest local office .. i guess you should go in person if i'm not mistaken... if you are bored just pm me and i will give to you my yahoo messenger id.. i am also looking forward to work so that i can help my husband... coz at this time we are broke because of the fees coming in with the paperworks..

  6. So, now that we have our interview date and our medical is tomorrow - everything should be going in the right direction.

BUT my biggest stress is trying to sell our house! I am still hopeful for a Fall wedding, but our house has been on the market for about 6 weeks and although we have had lots of viewings - we have yet to have an official offer! We dropped our first estate agent as they considered 2 viewings in 4 weeks "good". Obviously, we are not on the same page.

Is anyone else selling a house? Anyone want to buy a house in lovely South Manchester??

    http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-155...=1&tr_t=buy

we are also selling our house in hastings florida... if you are interested please click this link::: http://www.paradiseofdoggies.com/3/miscellaneous7.htm

  7. give me the yahoo messenger of your wife and i'm going to talk to her about this and comfort her... i really want to help coz i want your marriage to work out .. it's not too late it's just a matter of determination and a matter of adjustment of the new country, new environment... just don't try to hurt her physically .. if she is angry try to calm down coz it's not good for the 2 of you to be angry at the same time.. remember deciding things when you are mad or angry its not good ...there's no decision that can be make in a situation like that...

  8. I think she is trying to point out that the OP's wife is not the only one who complains. She took example of herself, another filipina, and that she complains during the adjustment period.

It's gone overboard I think to assume that it is filipina culture to complain. Just because 2 people claimed that they complain during the adjustment period and they happen to come from the same place, you can paint the whole culture.

To the OP: good luck on finding solutions. Apology for the distraction from your topic.

i appreciate your sincerity to explain things well that was i'm trying to state but someone brought this as a cultural issue.. my apology also... i mean we are free to state and express whatever we felt but we should be very careful in delivering it... you know what i mean?for what we think might not be the right things to say...

  9. complaining all the time is part of your culture? That's a lame excuse, and a lame way to live your life IMHO.

I think she was trying to help and flaming her for this is somewhat harsh. As a filipina herself perhaps she can give a greater insight into their culture than a Brit could.

thanks Rosemariel for thinking far of my thoughts :) ... i don't understand, i am only giving my advise and personal opinion to this topic and someone out there put me in a harsh situation that leds to ones CULTURE

  10. quote: "i am a filipina also and its just normal to complain.. we know that your financials are broke because of the paperworks processing just to get us here but it doesnt matter coz if you did it to the one you love its just a penny. Trust me i also complains a lot to my husband as in everyday"

Which seems to suggest that it is normal for a filipina to complain. Which indicates a cultural statement.

I personally do not know any filipina's who complain all the time, hence my comment that blaming such behavior on being filipina is lame. It's a personal behavior trait and not something that I think is a very good or nice way to treat your other half.

oh my gosh you really quote it... are you insulting me? i personally do not know people who personally view things literally.... and for your info this is not about culture ... opening topic and assuming things said are part of one's culture is not good... coz in this forum we have different cultures

  11. excuse me britbird? i am not stating that its part of our cultural heritage you might view it literally im assuming that his wife is a filipina and im stating that its normal being a woman to complain or express what you've felt in a certain situation... this is all about personal experiences not about CULTURES...i don't know about your culture and im not interested, all i know is that we have A VERY GOOD CULTURE (that's why lots of people in the US try their very best just to bring us in the country... :) )

complaining all the time is part of your culture? That's a lame excuse, and a lame way to live your life IMHO.
  12. before i go on can i ask this few questions? is she a filipina? is she a college graduate? just understand your wife it's not also easy to be far from the family especially in a family oriented culture like the philippines plus her child is left there... instead of arguing and saying bad things against its other comfort her and offer good ways on how to deal with the situation.. i am a filipina also and its just normal to complain.. we know that your financials are broke because of the paperworks processing just to get us here but it doesnt matter coz if you did it to the one you love its just a penny. Trust me i also complains a lot to my husband as in everyday and guess you know what he will always do he always strike a jokes on me if i started complaining...so instead of a big argument a big smile will be the result..and with the case of your children explain to her that its just appropriate for you to do things to them and try to tell her that you are trying your very best to get her child. if she needs someone to talk to im just here.. i am still also waiting for my work permit so that i can work here...

hope i enlighten you with this..

  15. 1st excuse my English. Thank you.

I would like to know my rights as a legal resident there when I am married to an American Citizen.

What can I do if I will be discriminated in going inside a rich restaurant or shopping at rich stores, and they don't want me inside because of my ethnicity? One of my friends from the Philippines went inside a store, she could afford to buy the store's products but she wasn't treated well because she is Asian. I don't want that to happen to me. Can I sue them? what about if others are too harsh on me; nasty words, disrespecting me, insulting where I came from, etc.. I can excuse 1-3times I think but if I couldn't take it anymore?

Please advice. Thank you very much!

are you now in the us? where in the philippines you live?
