  1. I went for N400 interview June 13 in Fort Myers FL and was approved except I-751 file was still sitting in Potomac. Interviewing officer said he had already requested file and I could expect a letter within a few days scheduling the oath ceremony. (It would have been same day if he had the I-751). I kept checking online status and could see the file was sent and oath ceremony was to be scheduled. Received a phone call exactly one week later on June 20 advising that oath ceremony was today, June 26. Also received letter in the mail confirming ceremony date and time. Everything went very smoothly this morning and I received my naturalization certificate.
  2. Anyone getting this message when they log in to check case status? I’ve been seeing that since yesterday for 2 cases that are already done and then my I-751 that is in progress. The N400 case has a status of “actively being worked on”. Your case status is unavailable at this time. We are working to get you accurate information as soon as possible. Current as of today at 12:58 p.m.
  3. I filed I-751 in Aug 2021 and after NOA, nothing. Current status is “received”. I filed N-400 online 2 weeks ago, received NOA and status is “being actively reviewed”. Hopefully it pushes things along. I recently saw a YouTube video from an attorney stating USCIS is looking at current cases to try and bang them out instead of dealing with back log!
  4. I have a question about completing the N 400 and reporting days spent outside of the US. It says to report all trips over 24 hours in the last five years, but I am wondering if it is based on the date when you got your green card and became a permanent US resident if you are seeking naturalization based on the three-year marriage rule? I lived in a border city between Canada and the US and made weekly trips back and forth while we were dating going back over the last five years, but that would be a lot of trips to list, so I’m thinking it’s actually going back the 3.5 years since I got my green card in November 2019. Any thoughts or experiences on this question? Thanks.
  5. Has anyone submitted N400 (application for naturalization) while waiting for I-751 (removal of conditions) to be processed? If I’m reading it correctly you can submit N400 and it will be acknowledged but held for processing until conditions are removed. Sounds like it they have it, they may process both at same time. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks.
