Does anyone know what is going on the US consulate in Israel?

I heard they are not open for interviews. Does anyone have any more information?

How are people dealing with the Health Insurance Enrolment requirement? How can we purchase health insurance if we have no idea when we'll be moving, and without purchasing it out can we show proof of enrolment???

my spouse is applying for the CR1 visa. We are currently living in Israel, but I am thinking of moving back to the US earlier. He already has a tourist (B2) visa and I know he can legally visit me but may be turned away at the boarder. Has anyone successfully visited their spouse living abroad in this situation? Especially for a few months at a time? 

I am an American citizen who has been living in Israel for 5 years, where I met my (soon-to-be) spouse. We are applying for the CR1 visa. 

My question is, how much evidence do we need to prove a bona fide relationship?

We have pictures, wedding invitation, an apartment lease, text message conversations, proof of a shared bank account, airline tickets showing we travelled together, and letters from friends. 

How important are affidavits from us and witnesses? Will the documentation above be enough?

Thanks everyone. Does anyone have any advice about getting “married” in Israel before getting the K1 visa? My finance and I were planning on getting married without the rabbinut (not legally) and then getting legally married in the US when he gets the visa. I know someone who did this. However, I’ve seen other posts on visa journey that warned against doing this. Any advice? 

Has anyone used a lawyer or an online service to help them with the K1 visa application? Looking for a recommendation.

I am an American, living in Israel, with my Israeli partner. We are thinking of applying for either the K1 or CR1 visa. I would love to talk with anyone who has been through this process before. If we do get married and apply for the CR1 visa, we are thinking of getting married in Cyprus. Is it a problem to apply from Israel but have a marriage license from Cyprus? Any advice from K1 or CR1 visa people very much appreciated!
