@mskidw Congratulations!! Did it require a signature on your side for the mail (priority) to be delivered? Or was it delivered straight to your mailbox?

    Thank you!!

The person who delivered the priority mail put the mail in my mail box. No signature needed. You can set up a USPS account and give the tracking number mail a special delivery instruction. I think it could work.

    Hey mskidw,

On my end, my USCIS online account updated with "New Card is Being Produced" on Friday 9/27 and I received my card in the mailbox the next Friday 10/04.

    I hope that helps!

My wife finally got an update yesterday 10/9 that her New Card Is Being Produced . Hang tight everyone and hope you all get the same update soon 🙏 Thanks again to everyone for their updates! Those have been invaluable to us.

    Congratulations!

Could you let me know (if you still remember by the time) when you get your card in the mail? I am trying to see if my card will be in mail when i am away from home for a week from Oct. 20th. Thank you!

Did you file N400 while I751 is pending? May be that's why you have not heard. They may do a combo interview.

Congrats! Can you share your timeline?

Hey.. I was trying to add my timeline to my profile. But i couldn't find where to add under the signature section (the section that under your comment). The actual timeline portion provided by this website didn't have I-751..Could you tell me where to add Immigration Journey? Thank you!

    Congratulations on your approval!

Seeing others, it seems like everyone received their card in less than a week so I'm sure it will make it to you before your trip.

Thank you! I was pretty shocked when i saw that. I had been told by different people that a lot of people got approved these days. But I never got my hopes up.

Thank you for telling me your insight! It would be great if I could receive the card within a week, that would be super sweet!

Hi all, I’ve been one of those silent readers here for a long time.

Today, I received an email from uscis saying my new card was ordered!

I’m a CSC filer with NOA date 7/11/18, fingerprint reused and transferred to Potomac at the end of May. Honestly,  I was prepared to wait for another couple of months but it happened! So Potomac friends don’t give up the hope, it’s very slowly but certainly moving!!

That's super nice to know! Thank you for sharing!

My Notice Date was 7/11/18. Fingerprint was reused on 3/8/19 and case was transferred from CSC to Potomac on 6/4/19. It looked like my case was similar to yours.

    😁😁

You can have someone you trust open the mail for you while you're gone and monitor it. For only 15 days, I think it'll be ok. You should be able to get back before the interview date.

i would.. a good friend of mine that i really trust is going to be overseas as well in November.. what a bummer... So I might need to have the post office keep all my mails those 15 days. fingers crossed!

So in line with many of our colleagues, after receiving the letter that my biometrics would be reused (in fact this is the last status on my USCIS status online - Fingerprint review completed), today I got a new letter with a biometrics appointment for 2 weeks from now. Since I'll be doing a surgery this date, I will need to reschedule hopefully to an earlier date. How did others go through the walk-in? Did you just showed up at the location in an earlier date and waited in the line? Do I need to take any evidence why I need to reschedule or so?

Thank you for sharing..  I am surprised that you got a letter for a biometrics app after the status online changed to fingerprint review was completed. I never thought this case would have happened. I got the same online status on March 8th. I hope I don't get a letter to go to a biometrics appointment..

Hello everyone! Did anyone experience any problem flying international with their maiden name appeared on foreign passport (name used for the plane ticket) and married name on their green card?

    Hi,

I had this situation. So before I got on the plane, I went to my country embassy in the US and requested a note on my passport, stating the name on my passport was the same person as the name on my green card. This was my evidence.

    Hope this helped.

Yes we did anyway although not required.  One reasoning was that the tax transcripts do not show the full 9 digits of the SS# but the last 4....it was just to show I'm the same person who filed taxes jointly with the US spouse citizen....again, not required but still thought we would include

Thank you for the detailed explanation! That made sense!
