The process is the same for CR-1 or IR-1. If the immigrant spouse enters the US before 2 years of marriage, he/she is classified as CR-1 (and would receive a conditional 2 year green card). If the immigrant spouse enters the US on or after 2 years of marriage, the he/she would be classified as IR-1 (and would receive a 10 year green card).
