Mine was 2 weeks before you and I had a touch on May 11th. I thought maybe it got transferred because that happened to other people, but I checked twice and it was still at Texas.

I've been following the February thread where there's been approvals, but it looks like they're all from Nebraska surprisingly. Texas isn't as fast as it used to be, and from recent news, it looks like things are going to get slower. sigh.

Thank you so much for your answer,  I don't think I got transferred, because I sent and inquiry via message by checking my address (they sent the receipt in my old address by accident , my form was filed with my current address but for some reason they sent in the address I had in my USCIS profile, they told me the address was updated and my service center is Texas, and keep checking the processing times there,.. I hope to get the approval soon, same to you..

Where do you check your current service center?

  2. Hello, I'm US Citizen and  filed I-130  for my mother online on march 24th, and my Priority day is the same,  it seems they touched only once in May 15, since then I didn't see or hear any anything,  wondering is they still processing with all this craziness going on. My service center is Texas, 6-7 months processing time. Does anybody get any approval form this center yet? thank you and best of luck for everybody.

My gf is from Russia and we met online in July 2017. She already had previously traveled twice to the US before i met her with a tourist visa. In November 2017 her family was going to travel to L.A. for a vacation. Since she was going to be in the US we decided she would take a flight to Miami where i was and meet before leaving to her country. Her stay was for 2 weeks and everything went well and she returned to Russia. Our relationship after her visit escalated and we decided she would come back Jan of 2018 to visit again. On this trip she would stay the legal 6 months. She provided all documentation of her flight record, her bank statements showing she had enough money for her long trip and saying she was to stay with me. Towards the end of our trip our feelings had escalated once again and we started to talk about marriage. At that time i was not 100% sure and opted for her to go back to her country(June 2018 and did NOT over stay) to stay within the law and apply for a K1 visa after once i was sure. Money and work became an issue so the application and visitations had to be prolonged. In March of 2019 her sister and brother in-law were once again planning a trip to the states in L.A. and we both decided to meet in L.A.. I booked my trip and upon waiting for her in the airport along with her family who had flown in from the UK i got a message of "im being detained for questioning". What came next after waiting 10 hours was her visa had been revoked and immediate deportation. She got these documents:

"Pursuant to section 235(b)(1) DHS has determined that you are ineligible to the US under section 212(a)(7)(A)(i)(I) "You were found to have provided false employment information to obtain your visa".

You have been found to be inadmissible to the US under the provisions of section 212(a) of the immigration and nationality act or deported under the provisions of section 237 of the visa waiver pilot program violator. In accordance with the provisions of section 212(a)(9) of the act, you are prohibited from entering, attempting to enter, or being in the US for a period of 5 years."

The false employment allegation was due to the fact that she no longer worked at that job because it no longer existed. Therefore no way for it to be verified and it was her responsibility to change or update this. At least that's what was told to her verbally after interview by the officer . Furthermore  currently during this time she worked for her own and she was given bad advice to not update this information as self employment can bring up red flags in future visits of the US thinking she will be working while visiting. I also believe it had to do with the fact we talked about getting married and was documented on her phone even though only the "false employment information" is the only thing documented on her paper work. We were devastated at this news but we pushed on and decided to book another trip and met in Cuba of June 2019 and spent 3 weeks in which i proposed and we got engaged.

Since then we have saved some money and are now in the process of wanting to file for the K1 visa. But since she is now inadmissible im aware we have to do a waiver. So my questions is do we have to do the I-212 or the I-601 or both then the K1 or just one of the 2 then the K1 or in which order? This is the part that gets confusing. Ive been to 4 local immigration lawyers and everyone has a different answer. It kinda seems they all have doubt about what to do exactly and haven't done a case like mine but want money upfront then will research what to do. Reading in the forums ive kinda narrowed it down to 1-212 and the K1 visa but still confused on the order. I get the fact that her visa wasn't up to date(her fault) and yes they made the right decision to send her back so i agree with that. But now we are trying to just file the right paperwork, in the right order as we are both aware this is going to be a longer process because of this. We both have accepted this fact but still want to be with each other and proceed with the correct way.

    Thank You!

    Hi marbar012,

Your story is pretty the same like mine.. I met the love of my life overseas , he is a singer traveling worldwide, I was just as any other expectator watching a singer on stage and a felt something in me that pushed to do  anything in order to meet him, I ended up talking with him,  and we felt a strange connection and I didn't even know his background  and coincidentally we were from the same country in southamerica (I'm already US Citizen)  so he decided to come with tourist visa to USA  and see where the relationship will go. it was to quick for K1 visa in order we needed to know each other so our best bet was the Tourist visa. our relationship got so much strenght during his visits and we didn't agree to stay  him ilegally, my US citizenship was in process so our only option was to wait and,  for him,  to go back and forth to his country (he never overstayed)... in the last visit CBP inrrogated him and they conficaded his phone, they found enough proof that he was in a relationship and they said that he was violating the terms of the visa, so, his visa was revoked  and they sent back home in the next plane. and the only thing they handled him was the ' record of sworn of statement under proceedings" 235 (b) (1) of the act.. the intersting part that he did not receive any other document or statement that shows the ground of inadmisibility, there is not statement that said that his barred to enter this country like yours..

We are getting married in his country by january 2020 and I will definitely w file I-130 Petition (after hours and million days of researching this is the best bet).. I hope he does not require a waiver by the interview.. in any scenario, we will prepare for that moment.. we have no plans at all to ended up with the relashionship.. I currently traveling everywhere to see him.. it's a really tough situation in order we are spending a lot of money in trips and mentally we are so stressed with the entire process / situation,  and we already know that there is a long path to go for.

my suggestion, stay focus, be positive and do anything you have to do, spend all the money you have to, in order to have the love of your life next to you, Remember, we only live once"

Stay stronger! I would like to keep in touch with you so we can share our progress and the success in our process!

    big hug

If application was allowed to be withdrawn, then there is no bar and filing an I-212 is not needed.

If he was issued an expedited deportation, a solo I-212 can be filed to waive the 5 year bar at any time.

If there is another inadmissibility involved (i.e. misrepresentation), then an I-601 would be needed (presumably along with the I-212 for being deported)  after otherwise being eligible for the visa. That's where you need to wait until after the interview to proceed.

Your answer is giving me a lot of hope,  my BF doesn't even know if his case was an expedited removal or application withdrawal, one of the lawyer I spoke to said that he supposed to receive a discharge paper (i think a green form) showing his inadmissibility,  he was treated well by the officers and they told him that his visa wasn't right for the type of visits anymore. he only got the record sworn statement 235 (b)(1) of the act . this happend on nov 2018 (1 year ago).

This is not being good for us, I started to have a lot of health issues because all of this.. stress became part of our days.. we can't wait to be together but I guess we still have a long path to go for.

I hope everyone can get their family together soon.

Offcourse he can file waiver tooo but how he will know under which section and for how long he is inadmissible.only he can find out is appear for interview and consular will let him know under which section he is inadmissible and which waiver he can file or not.

I heard about filing I212 at any time, s but you are completly right, we don't even know if there is a 5 year ban ;(

  6. Hi there, I need some advise here,

My BF was deported in port of entry (expedited removal i guess)  for multiple entries in short period of time., he never overstayed his tourist visa, He was going back and forth because we met overseas and tourist visa was our first option to see where to go with the relationship...  CBP checked his phone and they found he was dating me and they advised him to ask me for the FIANCE VISA OR 1-130 petition. Long story short his Visa was cancelled and they put him on the next plane to his country. the only paper they gave him was the Record of sworn statement I-867 and they never handled him any discharge paper. We are getting married next January in his country in order to me to file a I-130 petition, we don't even know if we need to file only the i-212 or the i-212 and i601 together. Does anybody knows if people deported in port of entry (airport) get a paper showing the ground of inadmissibility ? is there anyway to know before the consulate interview if he really will needS a waiver? I would like to know before hand so we can be prepared to send it out right away.

if anybody can provide any little info it will be very appreciated.

This situation is about to kill us!

    God bless you all

Thanks for this information! I have my interview on 5/28 and a trip out of the country at the end of June/ early July. I'm worried about timing.

Make sure to mention to your Immigration officer @ day of interview,  and when you get home send a message through USCIS portal to under "get an answer to a general question" Category, They will take care of that. Pretty sure you don't want to re-schedule your Oath ceremony.

and remember that you can take an expedited passport by going to a passport office according the state you live.

    https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/requirements/where-to-apply/passport-agencies.html

    Have a good life!

  9. I can't believe how fast and smooth my citizenship is being processed,

My interview was on April 18th and approved, on April 29 they scheduled my Oath ceremony for May 14 (I did not receive the letter yet but the digital copy was uploaded last night)

During the interview they told me to wait for six weeks in order to get the Oath letter but I've explained  that I have an upcoming trip in exactly  six weeks (may 24th).   at the same time  I've contacted USCIS through  my USCIS inbox (Ask to an officer option) requesting to schedule at least 10 days before my trip or after my return on june 12 (In order to have time to get an expedited passport) ,  an Inmigration officer answered me telling that my case was carefully reviewed and forwarded to the Local USCIS office and they will give the answer,

An Inmigration officer from my local office sent me a separate e-mail after 72 hours of my inquiry ,  telling me that they scheduled my Oath 10 days before my trip,

I highly suggest to reach USCIS through  your profile, they will give you an answer in less than 48 hours!! they are amazing!

Congrats! Can you please tell me your total time to finish your case? How was the interview? Questions? I appreciate your help!

I sent my application online on earlier Nov 2018. In exactly 120 days they sent me the notice for interview. On April 18th got interviewed. My divorce was pending when I filed online on November . I brought the divorce certificate the day of the interview and they updated. Interview was smooth and fine. IO really serious and professional.

    Questions:

1-How many voting members the house of representatives have.

2- Who becomes president if the president and vice president can't no longer serve.

3- Name one right or freedom from the first amendment.

4- Who is in charge of the executive branch.

5- Who wrote the declaration of independence.

6- The idea of self government is in the first three words of the constitution. What are these words?

    Personal questions:

    DOB

    ADDRESS

Date of the last trip (I screwed up my dates because I have bad memory and forgot a recent trip on may 2018 but I did put in my application) I got corrected by the end of the conversation.

    Name of ex wife.

    Are your parents citizens?

And all the security questions from the application.

She told me that I was approved and handled me a form with the details of the interview with congratulations word marked.

I mentioned that I have an upcoming trip and she will do her best to let the people know to schedule my oath once I get back from trip.

I'm so happy! Hope it helps.

Today I got my first " we are still reviewing your case" email, which I haven't gotten during the N400 process, I got a few of those during the I751, just curious as to what prompted them to start sending that out again.

also, I had sent them an email via the myuscis website asking about just some information regarding which Field office my case is at and why the MYUSCIS account has to timeframes ( case completion date 7 months, and estimated wait time 6 months)

Not Surprisingly, they didn't answer my questions, but in their reply, they stated " your information has been entered into the system that schedules appointments in your field office and you will be notified when a time slot becomes available"

as my case status still says " we received your biometrics" and hasn't updated, I wonder if it will change to " in line for interview" at all or it will just stay that way until I get the interview date/letter.

but being Santa Ana, I don't expect this to be a short wait unfortunately.

    Filed online: 11/7/18

    Biometrics :11/30/18

Havent had much luck adding myself to the sheet above.

    Good luck y'all

I will add you to the table

That's actually an upload from USCIS, that's your digital application apparently (scanned ), I've filed online and all the documents I  uploaded are listed in that section,  Is there is something for you from USCIS it will be listed under "USCIS Notices"
