    When are police reports required?

    Hello All,

    I am a US citizen who will be filing the I-129F for my foreign fiancee soon. I have some traffic violations from approximately 10 years ago that were over $500 fines. I see on the I-129F form that I should list those, but do I also need to obtain police reports for those incidents? I would hate to receive an RFE for not providing a required document.

    Hello Everyone,

    I am in the process of getting together everything for the I-129F initial filing. I have two questions.

     

    1. Should the petitioner and beneficiary Mothers names be their maiden name or their current legal name.

    2. Has anyone received an RFE for not including the I-134 affidavit of support form for the initial filing? Someone had communicated to my fiance that it was requested for their initial I-129F approval, but I cannot find any evidence of a similar situation here.  My understanding is that this is not required until later.
