  1. :pop: After reading your previous post, this IS more than GREAT news I would say!! Glad to hear that they didn't mess it up and able to review it over afterwards!... You are right, we never know what can happen next, however, it's only a matter of time for you now after you submit your med exam. Best wishes! Thanks for sharing the process, it has been an eye-opener!
  2. Sure you can do it. First send your I-130 petition, wait for the NOA1. Second, send the I-129F (K3) petition with the NOA1 from the I-130. So you'll need to get a hold of that NOA1. Through this route, you'll need to wait about 1 month to get the I-130 NOA1 in order to file K3.

How long will you be away? How about going through the K1 petition? You can mail that before you even leave, but cannot get married there then.

  3. Thanks!!!

It was a piece of cake. We were out of the consulate by 9:30 a.m.

The consular was really nice and talked to me in English too - apparently he wants to go to Manaus...lol

AND...not only did I meet Joey's fiance Fernanda....but I SAW HER TODAY AT CRISTO.

    Amazing, huh? It was cool.

We're so happy and we're travelling on Saturday. Tomorrow we go to pick up the envelope at the consulate.

I'll post a review later on about the interview in more detail.

Parabens Meredith!!! Então..vcs estam viajando agora!!! Wow!!! The 5th of April can't get here soon enough.

Bahia, where are you in California? I am up here near San Fran...Walnut Creek.

:ot: Nice! As, for me, I'm down here near L.A. in the O.C as we see it nowadays on TV B)

  4. nice radika!! ! i had a different interpretation... this thread has been a big mystery.. :girlwerewolf2xn: rated (S) for suspense..:pop:

well, if you got deported, it may be more complicated as you need to wait for a certain time before reentering. it all depends again.. voluntary or involuntary deportation?? two months may still be too early to get the response from the USCIS.. follow up on your petition and see what response you'll get..

still missing some details to get the whole pic.. good luck!...

  5. Hello, my name is Kim and my husband's name is Will. I am in Vancouver and he is in Tacoma. We are new

I have a question for the G-325A for the I-129F. At the bottom of the 325A, where it states "This form is submitted in connection with an application for:" Do we put I-129F Petition or I-130 as the I-130 is the main form/issue/petition and the I-129F is really the supporting form.

Also, my husband's father has not been in the picture almost since birth and so he is not sure of his father's date of birth or where he is living now. Do we insert "unknown" in the date of birth and City of residence spaces?

Thank you very much for any help!

    Kim&Will

You need to fill out sets of G325A for both petition. Just put I-129F with the G325A and I-130F for the other set of G325A.

I believe the DOB and info about your father, you can write "unknown", but double check cause I am not 100% - I remembered reading that somewhere. Goodluck!

  6. I read that you can track the file sent from NVC through DHL. However, your file may have arrived but may be sitting at the consulate there. If they have not entered your application on the system, then they won't know they received it. Some consulates are known to have done so. You can keep emailing them with the case number until they give you an update.

Here's the info to track your petition if you think it's still floating around. GOOD LUCK!!!

  7. THANKS GUYS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT.. This VJ has made the wait more bearable since I can update my wife on the status so we can know more or less and not be completely in the dark!!! And Without internet, our process would have even taken longer.. anyway.. thanks for the support!!! best wishes to all and congrats to all as well for starting and finishing the process...

  8. epoy2...we have the same NOA2 approval dates as well.. however, my wife is in Brazil.

The "validity dates" of the petition approval, a 4 month period of time during which the fiance(e) must complete the requirements for the visa. (May not be on every approval notice, but that doesn't mean there is time to waste). Note: This validity period may be extended at the consulate if needed.

Good luck and congrats!!
