...i've been away from my husband for almost 11 months now and we keep in contact through yahoo messenger with the voice chat and whatever...but we also text non-stop all day long....texting is veryyy expensive!! haha...its about double the price to send a text overseas, then i'm paying regular price for incoming texts from overseas..

now, i have yet to find one...but does anyone know of any phone companies with a long distance texting plan?? i don't understand why they don't have one yet...i'm sure lotsss of people would use it..

anyway, any thoughts or tips would be appreciated..thanks!

Hi everyone!! My fiancee has her interview Friday, January 4 and I will be returning to be there with her. We will take care of all the matters and leave @ 10 days after the interview to be together in our new life. You should wait until her visa is approve to by the ticket. Philippines Airlines sometime give a discount for fiancee ticket one way for the first time. You would have to go thru an agent here. I suggest that you check price out on both sides. That way you will fine the deal. You might want to get is asian or filipino newspaper to fine some agents. Good luck. Do not forget she need to go to the CFO semair also before she leaves the Philippines.

I already booked flight in Philippine Airlines from Cebu to Manila and my international baggage allowed is 2 and 32 kilos each baggage. How many kilos are usually allowed in Philippine Airlines for Cebu to Manila? Do I need to pay excess with my baggage??argghhh going crazy here

When fly international flight and with connecting flights at either end. The connecting honor the international baggage rules, as long you have you baggage check all the way thu. From start to finish. I hope this will help you. I fly from Phoenix, AZ. to Cebu. With transferr in Los Angele, CA. and Manila. Do not have any problem going with the international rules on baggage. hello! i would just like to know if anyone here on visajourney has ever used phone cards like the pldt budget cards or phone cards in the US as proof of relationship? my fiance and i call each other on the phone using the phone cards since it is more economical. making long-distance calls is so expensive. my fiance and i communicate through snail mail, cards, and phone calls. he doesnt know how to use the internet nor does he have a cellphone. do you think the consul would accept phone cards as proof of our relationship? hope i can get your opinon on this matter guys. thanks!

I'm wondering if anyone had experiece with being married while waiting on the CR1 visa but none of your spouse's income was earned in the U.S.

Was any of your spouse's income treated as taxable here, or was it just treated as reportable and the only tax due on their income was to the Philippine Internal Revenue? How did the Philippines treat your income on your spouse's taxes.

You does not have SSN card. You can claim him until your spouse is in the US and gets SSN. Then you can claim and redo your taxes. Spouse income in the Philippines is not taxable in the US, but any taxes your spouse pays to the Philippines on Internal Revenue you can use. I suggest you get someone that know ins and outs of international tax to help you do your taxes once your spouse get the SSN. GOOD LUCK.

That you remember the reason there is a Christmas to honor the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Just rememeber Christmas, birthday, or any other holiday is what you and your family make of it.

building.

6:15------------------------Get inside the building in the USE

FIRST STEP----------------ticketing both get the number 7052

SECOND STEP-------------number called in the window 16 for finger scanning

THIRD STEP---------------window 26 filipina pre-screening (interview)

place her my BC,NB,PICTURES, EMAILS,AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT

but she did not accept the affidavit of support of my fiancee coz no signature

she asked me the following:

a.)WHO IS MY PETITIONER?

b.)WHERE DID WE MET?

c.)WHO IS MY NAME?

d.) HOW OLD AM I?

e.)SHE ASK ME ABOUMY PICTURES

FOURTH STEP------------- window 29american consul

i greet him good morning sir! and he respond good morning too.

he ask me how am i doing, and say very good sir!

he ask me the following:

a.) WHAT IS YOUR NAME?

b.) HOW OLD ARE YOU?

c.) WHO IS YOUR PETITIONER?

d.) HOW YOU MET?

e.) TELL ME ABOUT YOUR FIANCEE?

f.) TELL ME HOW YOU MET?

g.)WHAT DOES HIS JOB IN AMERICA AND WHERE DOES HE WORK?

after my interview with the consul, he said: YOU SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH YOUR

DOCUMENTS but except the one the affidavit of support has no signature. So he let me back

to sit down in the blue chair and wait for my name to be called:

FIFTH STEP----------------my name was called by the window 38. He give me the pink slip to pay the

delbro. but he ask for addtional documents the affidavit of support,ITR,W-2 i

have those everything but the formI-134 has no signature of my fiancee so

they did not also accept the ITR,W-2 coz has no I-134 the affidavit of support.

He told me to come back to the USE if have ready the additional documents

that they required. Im not sure if i am approved or not. But as what i have

seen in my folder with the consul, i saw a approved stamped. I hopefuly i am

approved, and they only waited for the affidavit of support to be pass.

So on monday, i will have to go back to the USE, to pass all the addtional document, like:

affidavit of support,ITR,W-2.

SIXTH STEP----------------delbros window, get a form to filed up to pay the visa.

so i pay 165.00 pesos. so after i pay. i go out from the USE.but not yet go

home.

I go out becoz i am done of my visa appointment at that time. bu not hundred 100 percent.

I went back to the USE @ 2 p.m for the information, asking if i can fax the affidavit of support

of my fiancee. and He said yes. so there he gave me a calling card of the USE. and we go

home.

REMINDERS: SO BODIES HERE IN VJ, AWARE ALL YOUR DOCUMENTS MAKE IT SURE THERE IS NO

BLANKS SPECIALLY THE AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT THE I-134.MAKE IT SURE THAT THERES

A SIGNATURE OF YOUR FIANCEE. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

We've started thinking of shipping some of Rhosie's stuff here rather than buy new luggage (as money is getting tighter every day). When you are flying you can check in two (2) items with a total weight of 70 lb each for a total of 140 lbs. If they are over the weight then you will be charge more. If you have alot bring to the USA, you might want to contact DLA and see about shipping by boat to the USA, unless you want right way then you will pay a lot of money. Most company that ship boxes to the Philippines does not bring boxes back to the USA, because it is very costly and custom problems.

We got our Intervew notice late and her interview is Nov 9

And it will be a holliday in phil this coming week.

Our Medical date on IV showed it was on the same day as her Interview.

Learned from VJ do disregard the IV date and do the medical as soon as possible.

But we may not be able to get the Medical done in time for the Interview.

Wife lives 10-15 hours from manila and a holliday next week.

We only have this coming monday the 29 to do the medical befor the holliday.

Will we need to reschedule the Interview?

Can she contact someone while she is in Manila to reschedule?

If we need to reschedule, what do we have to do?

If you are sending a small package, the best way is U.S. Postal Service, Phoenix to Philippines 10 day delivery 4 lbs. or under is about $ 11.00, 10 day delivery 20 lbs.or under is about $ 40.00.

I sent six very large packages from Phoenix again to Philippines it cost me $ 480.00 and took 24 day from date of pick-up until deliver there in the Philippines. hey guys... im really stressing about this ...i sent out the I-129F last sept 19 2007 at the post office here in Riverside California. the employee there said it would probably get there in 2 days if not the next day. Its been a month and i still havent recieved any notice saying they've recieved it. and the $455 filling fee is still in my bank and has not been cleared!!! Ive been reading forums and timelines and ive seen that most took about 2 weeks for them to know if they service center has recieved it and about the same time for the check to be cleared...is there a number i can call to speak with someone personally and not those recordings??! im really stressing about this, so if anyone can help me i would greatly appreciate it!!! It took me over 30 day to get a reply back that they had receiveI-129F. Just because we are giving them more money it does not mean think will move fast. I think thing are moving slower now than before.
