So I wanted to make this post to help anyone who has questions about an expedite request during the USCIS stage. I had a hard time finding information.I will also update how the process will go for NVC but so far is a timeline of events

    Mailed Application: Dec 28th

    Tracked Delivery on Dec 31st

Payment processed via CC Form G-1450: 01/03/2019

    NOA1 & Service Center: 01/04/2019

    Texas Service Center

Requested Expedite: 03/15/19 via phone (medical)

USCIS responded via email to submit evidence: 03/17/2019( letter from my doctor)

    Respond with evidence 03/17/2019

USCIS responded via email 03/21/2019 -CASE DENIED

I decided to try again but when I called you have to wait at least 5 days before initiating another request.

So again called April 3rd to USCIS, the rep will ask you under which category you would like to request the expedite. I didnt give her any details other than I wanted to request it for Medical.

April 5th- just two days after, I recieved an email from TSC to send evidence of my medical situation. I had already had the paperwork ready so I responded to the email the same day.

This time I sent more evidence

Personal Letter explaining why I needed the requested expedited

A letter from my doctor with medical records

Power of Attorney information that states the Beneficiary as my POA

NOTE: The information you send for evidence is crucial to rather your request gets granted or not..so I don't know which specific evidence granted the approval but I sent as much as I can to avoid another denial. It is a case by case situation so less or more information should be given depending on your situation.

April 5th- received an auto reply that they recieved the evidence and will review.

April 12th- I recieved another email stating the request was granted and I should have a response within 30 days.

April 17th- I recieved an email that an action was taken on my case, I checked the website and it said approved.

Hi did you send the evidence to uscis physical address or to their emai l . Will be glad for an urgent reply. Thank you

You dont need a passport photo in filing I-130 neither during the NVC stage. They need it during interview. I didn't submit my daughter's photo on both so i'm sure you will be fine. I just got my case completed last Sept. 27 and awaiting interview date now.

Hi could you say if you got your interview date and how long was the entire process for you? And one last question. Does nvc sends you a package to your child or do you go through the 6 steps on the nvc timeline. I was reading ir2 visa steps and it say that nvc send you a package, but regular cr1 spouse visa you go through the 6 steps. Could you confirm

No new information no update. We are currently waiting for the NOA2. According to the processing time April-June. Hopping sooner. I will keep everyone posted if there is any update.

This is what happened, so my husband filed for me and during the proces I got pregnant so when I went in for the interview My son was three months we thought he would have been eligible for the crba but unfortunately my husband only been in America for little over three years and the requirement is 5 years to transmit citizenship to a child. They denied my visa until we petition for our son. So we are doing that (my husband got his citizenship through the navy) right now we’re hoping my son papers finishes before a year because if no action is done my case would get throw out in a year. On the 221g that I received it said documents needed : 1: visa petition for your son

2: your medical will expire March 11, if you do not enter America by that date you’ll need a new medical.

And they continue to say that if no action is taken within a year then my visa will be denied.

could anyone say what they get from that?

And if I need to wait until the petition is completed before I go in for a follow up interview or I can go in now since my husband already petition for him , since the document required is a “Petion for son” and not visa.

    PLEASE HELP
