Yeah!! Congrats!

Great news for us! We had our interview today at San Francisco, CA. We got there about 15 minutes early than our appointment and only waited for less than 10 minutes for my name to be called. The IO seemed friendly, even asked my husband something in mandarin. The whole thing took about 10-15 minutes - most of the time the IO just kept flipping over my documents on file (I submitted before). I was asked some personal information only to verify what I wrote on the application. He asked my hubby some questions like where we met and our occupation. The only document asked and collected from us were our joint bank account statements. No pictures, etc.

Overall, it was a breeze, nothing to worry about! I'm soooo glad this thing is over for awhile. Whew!

Yes, the IO told us and he also gave me the white form of approval.

wow! i think you paid too much. i just paid $30 for the civil surgeon to transcribe my st. lukes vaccination to the I-693. Fast and cheap! I had to shop around for the cheapest civil surgeon though. There are a lot out there who charge soooo much!

Thank you for all the replies! I was also able to find the link to the french consulate regarding travel to tahiti and the requirements needed to apply for the visa.

I am hoping to receive my green card around August and planning to travel to Tahiti for our honeymoon on october.

Has anyone traveled there before with their green cards? Do I need to apply a french visa?

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post...

Please give me some advice.

My case was just touched 2 days ago..but no emails or mails..

I didn't get any emails from them. The letter was dated July 2 and I received it in the mail July 10th. I hope you get yours soon..

Finally an update on my case today: received interview letter for August 15th! woot!!
