My wife's interview was fun actually.  The pre-screener chatted with me mostly after gathering the documents.   The CO for the interview chatted with me more that my wife also .. then forgot to give my wife the oath, had to call her back up to the window ..

Took over 2 weeks after the interview (not ISSUED status) before we saw the visa .. mostly because 2GO had closed down the office we had arranged for pickup, some phone calls back and forth with 2GO and they eventually delivered the package

Yep. They didn’t even asked for affidavit of support.

  2. I’ve been researching this forum.. I’ve been getting multiple answers

    some say include bank statements/assets

and some say you don’t need to include bank statements/assets if you meet the requirements

    confused..

  3. I just got the email last night stating that my fiancé can now schedule an appointment .. my only concerns are as follows :

    -  I am filing I-134, last 3 years of W2,  and income tax returns

    1. I am Active duty US Armed forces..so I am under the impression that I do not need to provide bank statements/assets/life insurance etc because I meet the income requirement?

    2. If my fiancé gets her visa interview schedule next month, how would I know if the affidavit of support is good to go when they check for it (US embassy Manila) at the day of her interview?

I want to do this the right way for the first time.  i highly appreciate your input.
