As others have said it just means your case has been touched. Nothing unfavorable at this time. Just give a little more time before the contact you with your P3 letter for needed steps and documents outlined. Also, can you complete your timeline and profile.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". To update your timeline select the word "timeline" in your profile the read the instructions. There now we can better serve you.

    Thanks

Okay I will complete my profile as soon as possible but I'm Egyptian how long the expected time my case would take??

Every case goes through AP. There is no time limit for AP nor any actions necessary on your part unless they request something.

Most AP is days to weeks. Some  times it's months. Rarely it's a year or longer.

CEAC likely hasn't updated to reflect AP.

Did the CO say anything about being approved? Did they keep your passport?

It's not unusual for extended AP with Egypt due to verification of documents, reviewing the bona fide relationship aspect, or background checks.

No he didn't kept my passport or even my personal pictures...... He told me we will review ur case and answers u...I asked him is this approval or denial he kept saying the same
