in fact they were waiting without any answers .. they called the embassy and sended email so it stills to go there and see what's going on . it may work

yes many applicants are in the same situation like you .. you can go to the embassy and ask them directly because I saw 3 applicants in the embassy of Tunisia who were delayed for no reasons and they called the embassy without any answers so they just went there and they had their visas the same day

Also, my case got updated yesterday for the first time but the status remained the same i-e AP. the previous date was 18th Jan and now its 23rd Jan. 

IA May it will get issued before 31st

my intrview also was in 17 january and it was approved hmd I got my passport with the visa but as I noticed my case status in the online application remained the same like it was before the interview.. it means your case can not be updated at the same time yr visa is issued

also when I went to have my passport I met with 3 applicants who passed their interviews in December and the embassy kept their passports without saying anything for them. these applicants   waited for a call from the embassy untill they went by themselves and they had their visas the same day

U may go to the embassy and try to ask them if u wasn't asked to submit any document

It confusing the way they treat applicants realy from my self experience they give me my visa without any sealed packet and they didn't even explain why untill I got some answers from this site

My hole process from submitting the petition to have my visa in hand took me 1 year and 12 days ! some may wait less like 9 months and some are waiting more than 2 years now and they havn't finished yet their process

the key is to have all yr documents submitted and essentiellaly yr partner 's financial evidence ..

so this means it's electronic documents that's why there is no need for sealed packet ?

it's marked IV document in CCD what does it mean ?

I went to my interview in US embassy in Tunisia in January 17 and in January 23 my visa and my passport were delivered without any sealed packet and no medical exam with it 

I called the embassy and they told me it's new policy and typicaly normal.. however so many applicants still get the sealed packet along with their visas

what should I expect from the custom borders in the port of entry ?

I suggest that u call the embassy and ask them if they realy havec a lot of interview to see whether this is the main reason of this wait time or what 

have u gotten an inteview date ?

why in my CEAC account the status hasn't changed to in transit ? it 's always at NVC

in my ceac it 's always shown that my case is currently at NVC ,  although they sent me an email  that my case is qualified and they will work with the us embassy in tunisia to shedule an interview date 

this means they didn't sent my case to the embassy yet ???

have u called NVC and checked what's happening ?  did NVC sent yr case do the embassy or not yet ? and how can I know if my case is already sent to the embassy or still at NVC ?!

So it looks like it took less than 2 months for case complete at NVC for you, is that correct?

my case was approved in 09 August and USCIS sent it top NVC in 31 August 

Nvc sent me the welcome  letter in 28 sep 

it took me almost 1 month  to send all my documents to NVC and in 07 Novemebr case complete

OKAY I can't understand why there many applicants who got their CC  after u and they al ready went to the interview

I have a friend who sended her documents end of august and about 2 weeks later in september she get a date for her interview in Tunisia and later in october she attended the interview

I don't know  the selection  based on what ?

same happened for me I was approved in 9 August by USCIS and my case was sent to NVC in 31 August , NVC sent me the welcome letter in 28 september ,, it was longer than ever ..

we called them today and they said that there is a lot of cases all what we have to do  is to wait 

it"s starting to getting so long now , realy frustrating   if they send the case to the embassy it won't take this long time , Idk why they still keeping the case in their departement
