In case no vaccination record is available, does anyone know if an applicant needs to have all required vaccines taken again during the medical exam? If yes, does it cost extra?

Yes but do you know what goes on these reports? Can the police interactions end up on there?
Mine was simple, basically it said "no record found". I think the only way to find out is to get one and see. The report cost less than CAD$100 and can be requested as many times as you want. The report is sent to the applicant (you, in this case) therefore there's no harm even if it contains something adverse. If you see something, at least you'll have a chance to address that issue in advance or prepare an explanation.

Commissionaires offices all over Canada have an agreement with RCMP. They are authorized to collect fingerprints and request a criminal check on your behalf. They use electronic finger print capturing therefore the application is submitted in real time as soon as you are done there. The reports gets mailed from RCMP to the applicant's home address usually within 2 weeks.

Yes I will be sending my passports in via the quickest possible delivery method, Unfortunately, I reached out to the doctor that did my medical already - I said I would happily pay for a another one and he REFUSED to do it until the Consulate requested it. Incredibly frustrating as this has the potential to set my move date back by 2-3 months.
I suggest you send your passport via non-Canada Post, quickest and trackable means possible. Mention in big bold letters (on the envelope as well as inside the package) TIME SENSITIVE - MEDICAL EXPIRING ON JAN 30. Also send a follow-up mail and bring the Jan 30 deadline to their attention. I'm sure they will be able to expedite your visa issuance because consulate is usually good with attending to matters they are urgent in nature.

Hi All,
Please note that I am *EB1 not EB2* so a bit different than you all. I had my interview back in August... unfortunately they scheduled it in July when the category was current, and then retrogression hit for August. So at my interview they told me my case was "approvable" but I had to keep checking the Visa Bulletin to see when my category would be current again before they could issue a visa to me.
After many months, I am FINALLY current for January 2019!
As instructed, I reached out to the Consulate to find out how to send my passport to them. I got an auto response saying that it is taking EIGHT WEEKS to open and receive mail!! I am assuming the delay is from the Canada Post strike? This is a huge problem, as my medical exam result will expire January 30th.
Are there any others that have run into this issue? Should I just send them my passport or do I have to wait for instructions? I fear if I wait there won't be enough time to process the visa before the medical exam expires...
I don't think that 8 weeks delay is because of Canada Post strike. It likely has something to do with the backlog in their mail room. Regardless, consider sending your passport through another means (e.g FedEx) and prep for another medical, just in case.

Nothing yet....... It's been 120 days since email received from NVC on August 6 confirming all the document has been received and waiting for the interview slot from Montreal. Called NVC last week and their response is same. still waiting for the interview date from Montreal for January schedules!
Ratri, assuming you get an appointment in January 2019, it will put the processing time at 5 months (after case complete). Please let us know when you receive the appointment letter.

I contacted Montreal consulate via email asking for an estimated time for the visa interview. They responded (via email) saying they don't have my case yet and that "NVC schedules interviews for them". That means the consulate will not be able to give any info on cases that are on queue waiting for a visa appointment. They have no visibility to it unless they have scheduled the interview. Prior to interview scheduling, the file stays with NVC and the consulate has no knowledge of it. The consulate can still give an approximate timeline for IV wait period (provided NVC has completed the processing and priority date is current) but it seems they choose not to.

Case Complete date Oct 18, 2018, waiting for EB-2 immigrant visa interview at Montreal consulate. My priority date is current. The CC letter says "Most appointments are set within three months of NVC’s receipt of all requested documentation" not sure if Montreal consulate has a bigger backlog resulting in a longer wait time for some reason (per other posts in this forum - upto 5 months). I'll post in this group whenever I receive a visa appointment and how it went. The CC letter came in pretty quick (within 16 days) after I submitted DS-260.
Dear Sir/Madam,
The National Visa Center (NVC) received all the requested documentation for this immigrant visa case. The applicant is now in the queue awaiting an interview appointment overseas, where a consular officer will adjudicate the applicant’s visa application. NVC schedules appointments one month in advance. The U.S. Embassy tells us what dates they are holding interviews, and NVC fills these appointments as they become documentarily qualified. Most appointments are set within three months of NVC’s receipt of all requested documentation. However, before applicants in a numerically limited (preference) visa category can receive an appointment, their priority date must also be current. This can delay receipt of an appointment. You can track your priority date using the Visa Bulletin on travel.state.gov. When an appointment is available, we will notify the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable). The applicant can prepare now by reading about the embassy’s interview requirements online at nvc.state.gov/interview. Thank you for your patience.
The embassy may require additional documents at the interview. For example, if the following three items are all true, the applicant must bring a new police certificate to the visa interview:
· He or she is more than 16 years old;
· The police certificate submitted to NVC was obtained more than one year ago; and
· He or she still lives in the country that issued the certificate.
