  1. Yes, but I'd lose 70% =/

I've told him, as I've said above, that he's got 1 month to prove himself to me. If he can do it and I feel myself starting to forgive his mistake and trusting him again then I'll go over and we will start our relationship anew from then on. If he can't prove that he's sorry, will never do it again etc etc, then he has promised to pay me back 100% for the plane tickets and we will go our separate ways. He seems quite adamant to prove himself to me and has already booked his appt to go see his therapist. It may not sound like a lot to people here, but I know it is one of the hardest things for him to do, so already I can see a change. I guess we'll just have to wait and see really. I'm being careful, and, as I've also said above, a wedding is now off the plans for the foreseeable future.

    And I guess I also have to change my sig o.o;

  2. He has promised to return to therapy. He used to go a year ago, but stopped because he hates it, but he has promised it's one of the things he will do for me. He suffers from bi-polar disorder and has even promised to go on meds again if it means that I would give him another go. As I said above, I've given him a time line of a month to get his act together and to prove to me that he is sorry, that he can be trusted, that he wants me and ONLY me.

  3. was this online or irl?

    cheating is cheating Charles!!!!!

Huh? How do you "cheat" online?

I can't speak for her in this particular situation but I would assume that they met online...so being that the basis of the relationship started online then having an emotional affair with someone online is just as significant to their relationship as a physical affair might be. Just assuming of course!

Yes, exactly. Him and I met online. Things have progressed since last night and I he has spent all night apologising, crying, apologising more, telling me he didn't know why he did it. That it didn't mean anything. He hasn't tried to justify it (which is good) and has promised me the world if I give him a second chance.

I honestly don't know what to do....

  4. So my fella cheated on me. Not physically, but dating, cybering and telling another girl he loves her etc.

I feel so embarrassed now about this account and being on here and all the things I planned and....

....God, how do I delete my account? I'm so embarrassed..

  5. Can I ask, what exactly happened at the doctors that was really "invasive" ? I haven't heard of one medical where something more than a quick normal check-over happens (which includes a breast examination) / X-ray and blood test happens... Surely she wasn't submitted to an internal examination?! =/

  6. You don't remember Gene Kelly in Singing in the Rain!? It's a CLASSIC! I'm 19 and love that movie sooooo much :luv:

Mint Royale are the guys who did the remix of the song for the VW Golf GTI car advert :)

The video for that car advert is

  7. It is said that absence makes the heart grow fonder. This is probably why lovers who are apart spend most of their time thinking about each other. If you are living away from your beloved, then there might be a long distance love quote below that will provide you with some comfort. :star:

Put these in your sigs or reply and share some of your own LDR quotes

    George Eliot

What greater thing is there for two human souls that to feel that they are joined... to strengthen each other... to be at one with each other in silent unspeakable memories.

    Anonymous

Love puts the fun in together, the sad in apart, and the joy in a heart.

    Thomas Fuller

Absence sharpens love, presence strengthens it.

    Robert Dodsley

One kind kiss before we part,

    Drop a tear and bid adieu;

Though we sever, my fond heart

Till we meet shall pant for you.

    Francois de la Rouchefoucauld

Absence diminishes small loves and increases great ones, as the wind blows out the candle and blows up the bonfire.

    Roger de Bussy-Rabutin

Absence is to love as wind is to fire; it extinguishes the small and kindles the great.

    Richard Bach

Can miles truly separate you from friends? If you want to be with someone you love, aren't you already there?

    Anonymous

Absence makes thy heart grow fonder.

I hate the stars because I look at the same ones as you do, without you.

    Anonymous

A part of you has grown in me.

And so you see, it's you and me

    Together forever and never apart,

Maybe in distance, but never in heart.

    Khalil Gibran

And ever has it been known that love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation.

    Jon Oliva

    If I go away

What would still remain of me?

    The ghost within your eyes?

    The whisper in your sighs?

    You see...

    Believe

    And I'm always there.

    Kay Knudsen

Love is missing someone whenever you're apart, but somehow feeling warm inside because you're close in heart.

    Hans Nouwens

In true love the smallest distance is too great, and the greatest distance can be bridged.

    George Eliot

That farewell kiss which resembles greeting, that last glance of love which becomes the sharpest pang of sorrow.

If the only place where I could see you was in my dreams, I'd sleep forever.

    Pam Brown

Odd how much it hurts when a friend moves away - and leaves behind only silence.

    Edward Thomas

The simple lack of her is more to me than others' presence.

  8. My partner's education was ruined because of little s***heads in his classes making his life hell and, in general, just making sure the teacher could never teach lessons. My partner ended up having to leave school before he did got High School Diploma and, although he regrets it so much, he knew he couldn't survive any longer in the school he went to. The teachers never did a THING against the bad students and because of that he feels like he is as thick as s*** because he never got a chance to get his HSD. I can't help but feel so sorry for him because the school I went to was amazing in comparison... I kinda dread the idea of having kids in the US after hearing all of these stories...

  9. As for finding a job there my chinese is good enough to get by, but I don't think that I would be able to work there properly. I can teach english there, but the way pay is too low compared to what I am paying paying here in the US.

Well, people make sacrifices for love... Getting a lower-paid job that would still allow you to live comfortably isn't that bad considering the perk of getting to be with the woman you love... =/

  10. Wink wink wink wink wink. (that's my impression of a pig talking).

I had a couple growing up, and then we had one a bit later on called Percy, but we renamed him Winky Pig because he just talked and talked all day.

Poor thing got a bad case of the mites and lost his hair and was ever so sorry for himself, the vet fixed him up with a couple of shots, the result being that what we thought was a short haired piggy turned out to be a very long haired piggy.

He was also gay, and more stupid than most because he insisted on trying to have sex with our rabbit's head. The rabbit was not happy with that so the two had to be separated.

You're right, they have sharp claws and can really scratch, especially if you try to give them a bath. He wasn't that smelly though because we'd give him hair cuts and bathe him every once in a while, plus he hung out on the lawn most of the time.

THanks for the pics. I think when/if we have kids I'll get them a piggy or two.

You should NEVER house a rabbit with a guinea pig! Nooooooo! A rabbit can kill a pig really easily!

I hate mites :( They're awful things and a pain in the piggybum to try and get rid of :( I've got my 2nd visit to the vets tomorrow with my two for another injection!

Don't GPs do that little dance when they are happy? I've forgotten what it's called...

It's called "pop-corning" :) Simply because they hop about and look like popping-popcorn :P It's REALLY adorable! My two do it whenever I change the fleece in their cage or if I give them loooooooooooooooooads of hay :)

  11. I'm 19 and it's only been 3yrs since I left school. I was well behaved because my parents brought me up to respect adults. We're not well off people, never have been, but there was always a level of respect in my household. My parents never raised a finger to me and I like to believe I've turned out pretty well :) I guess it's because my parents gave me a lot of their respect that I grew up giving them, and other people, the same amount I was given... I dunno.. I guess it's not 100% the parents fault when their kids step out of line, but they're the people that we need to point fingers at.

In school I daren't step out of line anyway... I had Nuns teaching me and my God they're the scariest teachers in the WORLD. Most of them would not allow you to utter a WORD in your lessons. God forbid if you so much as looked at the person next to you... You'd never get hit of course because it's illegal now, but the look a penguined Nun can give you when they're not happy with your behaviour.. My God it'd stop a nuclear warhead in it's tracks...
