1-Thanks!! , do you know or anyone here know what is the next expected status after " We reviewed your biometrics" , I know the expected next status was " Inline for Interview " and then " Scheduled Interview " but I read that there is some people says that they don't do " Inline for interview " anymore 😫, DO anyone know if this is true?

2- yes I know that Santa Ana is so crowded :s, But I expected to wait 12 months , but My Estimate Wait time says 8 months, What about your Estimate time ?

1- I am not sure what you are saying about "inline for interview" since I am just like you waiting for USCIS's email :D. BUT depend on people's circumstances, they will receive different messages. Do not panic (if you do) ! just review people' s cases for your info, dont rely on them and WAIT.

2- Mine is 9 months. Estimate is just estimate. Not thing for sure. You might receive your interview appt on Feb 2019 and take Oath on March or April. You never know. Be positive and wait.

I do file on Santa Ana as well Please keep your timeline updated 😁, Its hard to find someone on Santa ana  and November as well.

btw , are you having the same status rn which is "We reviewed your biometrics" ?

1-Sure thing. Yes. I think after bio appt everyone received the same message.

    "We reviewed your biometrics"

2-I think Santa Ana is one of the crowded office in CA and US. We might have to wait longer than the others.

    Good luck

I disagree. This is helpful for people in the future to gage how long their journey will be based on where their location. Some people don't have time to flip through ever posters time line

    1-  Thanks for your opinion.

2-  People did not spend 1 or 2 hour to prepare this package N400 but more than one day (I completed my package on August and submitted on November) . They have to research how to make things properly. Also, they have waited for years from K-1 , F-1 status to naturalization . And now, they don't have time to open people's timeline for info. Some people even set up notification to read people's comments here. Therefore, people dont have time to open people's timeline for info is irrelevant.

3-  Enclosed please find two photos attached. Which one provides more info? That's the reason why visajourney wants you to update your timeline instead of .........///////----------

4-  I just gave my opinion. People do what they want.

    Thanks.

2-The format above makes my eyes tired when looking at something like this.

If you guys want to provide info, update your timeline. It is clear and easy to track.

Thanks. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year !

I am not sure if the early walk in triggered my estimated wait time. Who knows??? I saw people in Washington DC office being called for interview after 7-8 months. I am sure my time will come one day sooner or later.....:)

    Thanks for your link.

100% that early bio appt shortened your est. processing time. Also, the actual processing time is normally less than the estimated one.

Estimated processing time changed from 12 months to 11.

    Very nice !!!

I don't have it with me at work. I can bring it tomorrow and scan it up but there is somewhere a link with all the questions.

Your goodwill paid back from 12 to 11 months :D have to believe in karma :D

Perhaps I should try like you.

I called up USCIS yesterday because I still have not received my biometrics letter. I kind of guessed what they were going to say, but I waited on hold for an hour anyway. They said that if it was 'scheduled on Nov 10' then they had until Dec 10 to get the letter to me! I just hope it means that I'm not going to miss the appointment, let along walk in early!

Dont worry! you will have it on time.

Biometrics completed. I needed to give an explanation why I came earlier that the date on the latter.

Nice . How long does it take ? Did you come early? Did they accept your relevant reason?

Ugh. I filed Nov 6. Got the notification my Biometrics were scheduled on 10th, but still haven't had the letter or document online yet!!!!! GGGRRRRRRR I want to go and get it done. Did any of you notice case time drastically shrink when you got it done?

I am not sure you checked the right tab.

I heard that many people attempted and were successful. I will try tomorrow and will let you know. I am going on vacation next week and I would rather to have it done before I leave the country.

Is it a relevant reason ? haha

It's up to the office, but from many people who have done it, it's possible. You have to take your letter in hand (either the hard copy that comes or print the PDF from your online file), and have your required stuff (Green Card, other photo ID, etc.), and see if they will allow you.

Search for people at your local office and see what their results have been. I guess it moves your process forward a little bit, or else people do it if their appointment is inconvenient and they don't want to reschedule.

I reviewed some cases. after their bio appt, it took around 6-8 months for their interview. If went bio appt almost one month earlier, should interview appt be one month earlier as well?

I did! just came in this morning. Nov. 27 in Riverside, which surprises me (supposedly my local office is San Bernardino), but it’s only ~15 miles further away.

    Keep checking your account!

Just got mine too for 11/26. I will attempt to do walk-in tomorrow.

1-filed same date but mine is Nov 29.

2-Is it possible that you could walk-in ?

  10. 45 minutes ago, SamuelEllis said:

That's definitely my case: my estimate is 22 months. YIKES!

Do you know why is that? Do they only process the N-400 once the ROC is done? Will they process both at the same time?

    Thanks!

I think you just answered your question.

You could imagine one of the requirements of N400 is permanent lawful resident.

If your ROC is pending, you are not really a lawful resident yet. So, you are not eligible to the requirements. They now verify your provided info first. Once your ROC approved, they continue to process your N400.

Therefore, filing both forms will take longer than usual.

These statements above based on my analysis and I am not sure if this is the reason.

The estimate is eventually the estimate. Your case may be faster than your thought.

    Good luck.
