Hello All, My sons went for interview in early March and one son got his visa approved. We were told to submit police clearance for the younger son who just turned 18. At the time we applied he did not need one. The officer gave us back his passport and told us to submit it back with the police clearance as soon as we get it. We have submitted the police clearance to them along with the passport and they received the package couple weeks ago. I was hoping that it will not take long to get it back but it is taking longer. When I checked his visa status it said "Refused" as of yesterday. I am a bit confused as there was no other issue but for us to submit his police clearance which was clean. The officer that interviewed us had said that it was all we needed to do. Please , I would appreciate if anyone has an insight as to 1) how long will it will take to receive his passport back --timeframe? 2) Does the his visa status "refused" mean the visa was denied?
