No it's not possible they won't even  talk to you. Scheduling an interview you just have to keep on looking. You might have to consider to schedule further out. But I know many have said they just keep checking. Cancellations happen every day so you just have to keep trying.

But why would you get physicals before you even have an interview. The clock starts ticking for the 6 months validity of the Visa to exit the country you are making it a very small window jumping the gun so soon.

Just keep checking the schedule is all you can do I mean like you and your finance both have 24 hour watch on the schedule.

I appreciate your reply. We decided to finish all the physicals because we were realistically expecting to be able to get an interview before our Dec 26th deadline and just can't give up hope on that. Not sure where you are in your process but we log in and only get 5 tries before being done for the day. We tried originally logging in with multiple devices to see if we could get more chances. We have yet to see a single interview available so would jump at just about anything. Any suggestions on best time of day to increase our luck (Nigeria time)?

    Thanks again :)

Hi, can you or anyone trying to schedule an embassy interview in Nigeria notify us here if the dates become available as my fiance is trying to schedule an interview also.

Also, does anyone have a clue when interview dates might likely be available? Dumb question, I know right?

Just cant wait to have my partner with me.

I'm with you and would love to have an answer to this question myself. After all of the work and expenses to get here not being able to schedule an interview was a difficult surprise to us. Good luck!

    Hello,

you need to schedule appointment online but when filling the form you should go under immigrant category and you should be fine. All the best.

Thank you for your response and positive wishes!  When filling out the online website I did go into the immigrant category to proceed because I did not see the K-1 visa in the non-immigrant category. I went back and checked after your suggestion hoping there was maybe something I missed and this would help us but it seems to be how it should be!?  It all works fine except when I get to the scheduling appointment page there have not been any appointments available.

  4. Hello everyone,

This question is specifically for people with experience scheduling K-1 interviews in Lagos. Somewhere someone suggested going to the Lagos embassy in person to request scheduling an interview. We would love to hear specifics for those of you who have attempted this or can speak to it. Is this a good idea? When is the best time to go during the day? Other than proving that we have all the documents required what should we be aware of or consider?

We have completed all of the steps required for the interview, including police reports and physicals for my fiance and his children. Our deadline is December 26, 2018  and despite daily checking of the website as many times as we are allowed for the past 6 weeks there has never been an interview available.

We inquired with our senator and I recently spoke to a very friendly lady at the embassy who at the end was not able to help me schedule our interview and suggested I keep checking the website.

Thank you everyone for giving us hope in this process  and realizing we are all on this journey together.

    Dennis and Erica
