I hope so. I am seeing my lawyer today... I can’t stop crying this is all so emotionally draining but we gotta keep hoping for the best. Were you able to get a date for your interview yet?
Ties, Please don't cry. It will be ok. I am routing for you and praying. I know how draining it is, remember we were just in this boat together. Just because I got an approval doesn't mean I stop praying that you will get through too. This RFE is just a bump in the road, Pretty soon we will be talking about this experience and how we grew from it. We got this in the name of Jesus. Positive vibes my friend🙏. Oh, We don't have a date yet, hubby had emergency surgery that set us back a little. But we will be able to send everything hopefully Friday.

Everything?! More evidence for every single argument my lawyer used. I’m seeing my lawyer on Wednesday. I’m now thinking that she probably didn’t do a good job at putting everything together. I’m so upset that I don’t even know what to think.
From what I am seeing online, they are asking for RFE to buy extra time. Most people I heard were approved shortly after sending the RFE package.

Please do! Thank so much for thinking of me! I am 1000x more anxious now that I’m seeing approvals from September but haven’t heard anything about mine! I’m hoping this week will be my week! 🤞🏻 ✨
Have you received the approval letter yet?
Yes, It came in the mail on Thursday and on Wednesday night around 11pm the site updated and we got an email and text telling us there was a change.

Hello,
I have a random question for you, how did you obtain a police certificate from Guatemala? Our lawyer just informed us we have to get it, but with no directions as to how.

Wow, I am so sorry. I hope that your case starts to move. I know the struggle of sitting in limbo. But God is good, I pray that you get to go soon so you can finish this chapter and start a new one. And thank you for the advise, we are meeting our lawyer tomorrow and will make sure to stress that.

Guys,
God is so good, we got a call from our Lawyer and was told that we were approved! Guys, I can not tell you how relieved I am. We did not get our approval letter yet, but I have faith. Now on to the journey of NVC and hoping Guatemala has a quick turn around! Peeps, keep your head up, don't be like me and freak out at every news update. I will continue to pray for all on here that are still waiting. Blessings

When my lawyer prepared my waiver he said processing time about 6 months...After 6 months he finally sent my waiver in early August, 2018. Processing time was 6-8 months than. After couple of months processing time changed for 6,5-8,5 months. He spoke with USCIS in middle of February, they said waiver assigned by officer and answer will be in 60 days..
Two weeks ago he sent inquiry...After couple of days USCIS set up back the time again and processing time 8,5 -10,5 months now. Today they said they need other 60 days...
I exhausted...it is endless waiting for me..😭😭😭
You are not alone, we are all in this together. I had my hopes up for it being done by this month in time for our anniversary. All we can do is take it one day at a time.

https://www.uscis.gov/news/news-releases/uscis-updates-policy-guidance-certain-requests-evidence-and-notices-intent-deny. This article refers to RFE and NOID no longer being required, meaning officers will need to straight decline applications if they deem them insufficient. Effective September 11,2018.
That's only for DACA...

So they sent you guys two appointments for biometrics? Our case is being processed in Nebraska as well. How did you set up your account for notifications?
This is where we created an account https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/displayLogon.do we entered our receipt number and I try to only check once a week...it's not working I've been checking everyday lol. Yes, they had us come twice, the guy that worked at the center thinks maybe the prints were not clear. I am praying this process goes smoothly for you and you loved one.

Hello! We are waiting on approval for my husband's waiver. Our lawyer let us it could take 6-8 months for approval after biometrics appointment. Our case is at NVC. Timeline below:
Receipt date: October 25th, 2018
Biometrics Appointment: December 4th, 2018
Does anyone have a similar timeline? Please let me know! We are anxiously waiting for approval.
We sent ours Oct. 2nd and had our Bio done twice (not quite sure why) We are being processed in Nebraska? Where are you? Also, we have an account set up for notifications and our case was update on 02/20/19 so I'm guessing either the finger prints are in or they maybe working on our case.

Same here, I'm not sure what that means. Have you heard anything additional yet?

We did our Bio in Nov '18 and in Dec we received another request for us to do the bio again. This makes me nervous, has anyone else had this experience?
