Oh God! What a beautiful day! I even don't know where do I start lol

I was scheduled for my interview at 830, so came in at 815, at 825 was called by the officer, the officer was extremely nice, asked me 6 questions, then asked me to read "where is the white house" and to write the white house is in Washington DC. Then went over my n400, at 835 he told me congratulations, please wait in the waiting room, at 9 exactly my name was called by another officer who was holding my naturalization certificate in his hand, so he took me into a room and read the oath, I repeated after him the full oath, then he gave me my certificate, said congratulations and took me outside, I left the building at 9 10, then I ran to DMV and upgraded my real ID driver's license to enhanced driver's license for US citizens only (I maid an appointment for it online a week ago) then I ran to the passport agency and apply for a first time passport, it will be ready in 15 minutes, (made an appointment by phone by waiting over 3 hours on the line 2 weeks ago)

So this is pretty much it

Guys! I truly hope from the bottom of my heart that all of you will get your certificates soon! I wish luck to each of you! Please text me or call me at any time if you have any questions, I'm always here to help as much as I can!!!

    Hello all!

I wanted to share my timeline for N 400. Location is Baltimore, MD.

    Submitted Online Application - 2/21/2021

    Biometric reused

Received letter for Interview  - 4/9/2021

    interview scheduled - 5/17/2021

I did not expect to hear from the USCIS this soon for the interview - when I checked the USCIS website, it says 9 months to 16 months to process N400 in baltimore office.

I had my interview yesterday at 4pm, I arrived 15 mins before the interview.

The interview went well, took less than 30 minutes - Agent asked 6 questions and I answered all. English test was easy. I answered Y/N questions and other questions like marriage status, husband's information, and my personal information. At the end of the interview, he printed out the form that saying that I passed the interview, said USCIS will send information about oath ceremony to mail and congrats me.

hey mrsghostyv, congratulation  🎉🎉,    a quick question, when was your 5 year anniversary? or 3 year anniversary? thanks

  4. I so scared of this application, I went through an immigration attorney. The things that scared me is that I was divorced twice and has three kids from two different marriage. My oldest son live with my parent abroad and my two daughter was born and raise here in USA. The most scary things for me is I don’t have evidence to show my support to my abroad son since he is grown with my parent I can’t make continues western union transaction(my parent manage my property back home). My attorney didn’t feel the same way I feel about this matter and when I asked why she told me the IO has every information about you if they feel lacking they would ask you so don’t worry. Guys what do you think about this? Should I worry much about the evidence GMC for my son live abroad? Please feel free to say something before I submit my application next week?

    greatly appreciated

I did my application yesterday night (since their system save everything for 30 says) and in the end before the payment they asked me to upload my green card back and front, my divorce decree, and birth certificate/custody for my kids (I'm single dad with twins who 24/7 live with me) so all in all it was super comfortable and easy.

On the 9yh I just need to pay

    Hi,

Congrats on the approval, but I am sorry to hear about the divorce.  Does you post mean that you filed a divorce waiver or that since your ROC has been approved, you are now filing for divorce? 🙁

O! Sorry for the confusion @Amhara initially I filed as a divorce waiver and after a year of divorce and this process I got approved. Thank you everyone who keep posting here in this blog that encourage me till the day!!!

It looks like filing electronically is the way to go.  Since our area, Dallas, has such a bottleneck, any weeks shaved off the process would help.  I have been scoping out those cases and there doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to when USCIS approved the cases, but in general, it seems that the electronic filers often get worked faster.

That's a hard one - your divorce really couldn't have waited five more days?  Really?  You may be kicked out of the process because you weren't married to a USC for three years.  You didn't mention how long you have be an LPR for.  You would have to be married to a USC AND be an LPR for three years, and the LPR time starts on the date on your first GC or conditional GC.

Hi @399 thank you for your response but i also say sorry for your misunderstanding .....i inter into the State through K1 Visa and I got Married the US citizen  within 30 days after my arrival. I passed all the process and got my Conditional Green card for two years but before my two years ending i submitted my i751 waiver since we agree to divorce with my ex......... for your info i also got my 1 year as well as 6 month extension ......
