Be patient you will receive the visa and it is good sign that they kept the passport. Do not write them too many inquiries. In our 9 month waiting period we sent only two inquiries.

InshAllah keep faith and keep praying, you will hesr good news, each case and inquiries are different. Our passport kept at interview that was a good sign, how about yours is your passport kept at interview?

yes received passport and arriving in USA this week.

case stayed on administrative processing for 9 months after first interview and then received email by Islamabad consulate to  submit second medical, we seen the case updated two times in a two week period after submitting second medical and when it updated third time the status on visa tracking website showing "visa issued " instead of administrative processing.

every august 6th 2018 it updated till mid october every week, then stopped and then one in November 2018  once in February2019 then couples times in april in two times in May2019 till it shows visa issued and printed. so if it updates byitself it is good sign that it being worked on. Can not guess exactly after how many case will resolve each case is different and inquires they seek different. our case is resolved in almost 10 months after interview.

We have gone through very painful period. but later we  left our case  on Allah Subhanatallah they Allah will guide us and resolve our problems.

no they contact us via email to submit medical and passport pics for possible final review. we did not involved senator or congressmen because lot of people said it is no use or sometimes it actually hurt the case.

By the Grace of Almighty Allah my husband's CR1 interview was in August 6th 2018 and he was put in administrative processing 221g  after that , passport kept.. After very agonizing wait, his visa has been issued on May 30th 2019 after asking second medical with no second interview called. I will thank Allah and give hope to all others who are going through 221g at islamabad or elsewhere that keep your hopes up. He was asked ds5535 questionnaire few weeks after his interview.

After very agonizing wait, his visa has need issued on May 30th 2019 after asking second medical with no second interview called. I will thank Allah and give hope to all others who are going through 221g at islamabad or elsewhere that keep your hopes up. He was asked ds5535 questionnaire few weeks after his interview.
