Have you gotten any luck with an interview.

Submitted docs to NVC 11/7. No word yet. Searching for info on Guyana consulate wait time as well.

No answer yet waiting for interview date.  Waiting waiting like everyone else.  A friend who just came back to USA from Guyana said the CR-1 are taking longer even if you are an american.   Only a few interviews are done a month.   Unfortunately the closing of the Embassy in Cuba has slow down everything.  God is in Control and I have faith my husband will be with me before March of next year.  It will take about 4 months.   Sad but I am going with the calculations my friend mentioned.

They just sent a letter with the date.. we did not get to choose the date.

Wow Congratulations!  I have been so busy I wasn't able to check.  When did you get approved?   That is when they placed you in Queue for the interview.  Wow I got approved 11/7/18 while I was in Cuba with my husband and I see by others that the CR-1 is taking about 4 months.  So dissapointed.  I am continuing praying though, God is the only one in control.  Will love your input. You can message me as well. Thanks

  3. Good morning! I actually heard 3 months.  It is unfortunately it takes so long but there are other countries who take this long as well.   I appreciate your feedback.  I honestly leave it in Gods hands at this point, at least we can travel 45 min to see our significant others not 6 hours like other countries or more.  I am being optimistic and we are closer in our process. All is well. 😃

Hey everyone. So my wife was approved! She received instructions on paying the USCIS immigrant fee and a sticker saying to go back to the Embassy to pick up her visa in 7 days. As of today, the CEAC page says visa has been issued and printed.

I'm a little confused though. Most people are picking up their visas within 1-3 days at a separate office called the CSRA document service center. Anybody have a clue as to why my wife needs to go directly to the Embassy to pick up hers?

HI, Congratulations Boricuba! Weppa. How long did it take you from NVC to give you the interview? PLease share.
