I’m finally starting to get excited as the first May filer got approved. I’m so happy for them and I can’t wait to see more of us getting approved too. It’s been a long wait for all of us and I know it might take much longer than we expect, but I’m very optimistic and hopeful that we’ll get our approvals very soon, especially early May filers :) I’m excited for you guys. I’m almost a June filer though, our first notice on the old site was on May 24th but the new site says May 30th so I’m very positive my approval might come in December.

I’m confused  about the old site and the new one , could you please tell me which one is which ? Thank you !!!

According  to Igor's list yes 5/3 NOA1 date 169 days out of India wow, I'm not going to get overly excited though. I also seen an Oct filer on Igor's list  approved it's quite early in the AM here maybe I'm seeing things  someone confirm please.

I also saw many early April filers that were saying they haven’t got an approval or an RFE whatsoever. I wonder why does that happen hopefully we all will be lucky and get ours soon

Unusual for this as for several years now the beneficiary is able to sign and scan their copy to the petitioner. Perhaps it's because it is an adobe/digital signature and not a hand written signature. Petitioner's should always be "wet" signature.

Best advice is print new copy, sign it by hand, then scan and email it to the petitioner so they can send it in to fulfill the RFE.

Yes he hand wrote his, but I had sent mine signed with adobe which is still my signature tho handwritten name and last name but using that app cause it made it so much easier I HOPE I WONT GET AN RFE BECAUSE OF THAT 😒😥

  4. Hi everyone! I am starting to get a little freaked out as I read many people have gotten an RFE due to the letter of intent to marry as it did not have an “wet” signature. I have sent mine via email ( to my fiancé ) and signed mine with the Adobe  Fill & Sign app, so it is my signature not just a typed name and last name. Did anybody get RFE’s due to this ?

    Thanks in advance !

    OK thanks

I just made a copy of what I thought is the barcoded Printing label from the last page that says what they want.

I also just emailed rushtranslate.com and they retranslated my fiance's docs to show the divorce on it... I hope it's accepted and prcessed timely... but I have a feeling it won't and they'll make me sweat it out.

Here's the print label I made I erased some of the info from here for privacy

Hi, I am a divorcee myself and I had my mom  translate it in English ( after i did some research at the time i found out i did not need to have an agency do it, anybody could translate it for me as long as i do not do it myself)  and have went and got it legalized with Apostile  at the court house which states  that the translation done is true and etc.

We are still waiting on the NOA2 (May filers ) and I’m wondering why did they RFE you and made you retranslate it?

I'm not exactly certain, but I would think that if he has an address in the family that he could send stuff to, that would probably be best.  Once he gets more permant housing, he should update the address...

Yea he told me all his mail gets forwarded to his mom’s mailing address and that i need to relax that he got this lol 😆

It's a paper mail, though you'll probably (though not definitely) get an email or text notification if you signed up for it. If he's not sure where he'll be living around when he gets the form, he might want to change his mailing address to a friend or relative or PO Box. You won't need the hardcopy of the form for a while, but will need it for AOS after you marry.

Ah i see...  i will let him know .. sucks that we cannot put my mailing address

    Thank you !!

Ya from what I can see on the Visa Journey site a person with April 17, 2018 just got their NOA2 this week.

So i got a situation... my fiancé is military and he just finished his tour in Korea, now he is going to the states but not to our next base which is Hawaii, but to Texas cause he gotta go take some classes so by the time he will go to our next base it will be December ish. Is the NOA2 a paper 📝 mail or an email ? He can’t update the address as he wont have one till end December maybe even January (he gotta look for a house and all ). Maybe it would be a good idea to  update the address and put mine from Italy? But idk if we can do that as I’m sure it has to be on his name.

Welcome to our merry band of May filers.

If you fill out your timeline, you can get an estimated NOA2 date based on your NOA1 date; unless you're in the last week of May (like Anastasia and me), I think the estimated date will probably be in November, actually.

Thank you, yes i am just figuring out the whole timeline thing on this site. On our receipt it says accepted on May 24... I try to not look on the processing time site as I saw that the average time extended by half a month... Hopefully you are right and we all will have our NOA 2 before Xmas 😿
