  1. Yes we do, After 2 weeks of getting your US citizen certificate you need to update your information on the social security office.
  2. You will be just fine. My interview was on Philly. I have the same timeline as you. I went for an stamp 2 weeks before my interview. I went to the interview by myself since my husband couldn't get an off day from job (I was convinced they will rescheduled my interview, But no) . I was there for about 30 minutes the officer was really nice and professional, she just asked for our life together, things about our daughter and new evidence about our life together. Now I am a US citizen. Good Luck!!
  3. Ok, guys so I have something different for you all: I had my N-400 interview yesterday at 11:00, I had ROC (Sep 2017) pending but decided to go by myself since my husband couldn't have a day off from job. I was 100% I will get my interview rescheduled because of my ROC, but I was lucky, the officer was lovely and professional. She never mentions anything about my husband not being with me. The first thing she asked was my appointment letter, passport, licenses, and Green card; I told her an official took my green card, and I just had the stamp in my passport, she said to me that was fine. She has my file with her and asked me for all new evidence (I had a lot) then she proceeds to do my test, six questions, read one sentence and write another one. She asked my husband DOB if we were living together and things about my daughter. Then she went over my application all the Yes and No answers. In the end, she congratulated me and gave me the letter that said I past the test and was recommended for approval. I just checked my online status, and it said Oath ceremony would be scheduled. My ROC status and Green card production had not changed. So I don't know what to think since my I-751 has no change jet.
  4. They must have your file. So it's up to you. I collect all the evidence that I received after my I-751 application ( one year and a half of evidence for me). Because they already have all the evidence you sent to them. But how I said it is up to you.
  5. You know that was really funny, because I gave her all the paperwork that I printed from turbo tax, and she told me they don't like that kind of form since many people fake them. She asked me for the transcription from IRS thanks God I have an online account with IRS and I had a copy of those with me. She didn't mention anything about filled jointly or not maybe because she noticed that both names were in the paper. She asked for bank statements and insurance under both names. I hope this info helps you.

  7. Congrats!!! Did you have a combo interview?. Were you spouse with you?
  8. Thanks for your answer, My letter doesn't mention anything about my ROC. My husband is thinking to get a letter from his employer stating the reason for why He can't be in the interview. In the other hand, When I talked with my lawyer, she said that she is optimistic in hearing something about my ROC before my interview. She needs to schedule an infopass for me because my extension letter is about to expire and my driver license too. What is really funny is that she doesn't mention anything about a combo interview, she even told me that in my info pass probably they can give me an update of my ROC. My local office is in Philadelphia.
  9. Hi everyone, I'm here looking for some advice. I am a Sep 2017 ROC filler and N-400, 2018. I received my N-400 interview a week ago dated May the 1st. My husband started his new job three weeks ago. Long short history, he was requesting a day off to be with me during the interview and was told by his the supervisor that was not possible to give him a day off during his training. At this point, I don't know if reschedule my interview or go by my self. My ROC has been pending for over 18 months, and my N-400 was processed in 7 months. I have a lawyer for my ROC and she said that because she did not fill my N-400 she can't advise me in this matter. has been a long road, and I don't want to delay this anymore. Of curse, My husband can't lose his Job he has been struggling for more than a year trying to find a Job. SO!!! should I reschedule or go by myself?
  10. I am in the same situation as you! I asked my lawyer to withdraw mi N-400 and she said NO!, because it may be a problem in my future applications. But I understand you frustration. Why they don't let us know that apply for N-400 may delay our ROC!! it's Not fair and it's not right, specially because anyone can fail the English o civil test!. I am wondering what they will do is someone fail any test. I guess there are nothing to do but wait.
  11. Congrats!!! which is your local office? I am just asking because your N-400 it was processed really fast. I Filed I-751 on 09/04/2017 and Filed N-400 on 09/07/2018 my local office processing time for N-400 is 9 to 17 months and I am thinking that my I-791 was delayed due my N-400.
  12. The funny thing is that the last action was "Case was received at local office" on 10/04 . when they took the same action back on February and march I never received this kind of notifications I don't know if this is because I applied for N-400 in September.
  13. Congrats!!! Did you ever received this notification? . I am getting this every 15 days. We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time We will notify you when your case status changes. We last took action on your case on October 4, 2018.
