so, it does not matter if the 2nd visit is in feb19 or may19 as long as it is less than 1 year. right ?

our (me,wife, daughter) first visit post GC was in sep18
i had to leave usa for my native country (india) after 16 days, to wind up running business, sell residence & car & household furniture+fittings, liquidate investments...
after about 9 months (may-ish 2019), planning for permanent settling in usa.
*
will this be an issue at usa immigration. can they deny entry
(wife & daughter has stayed put in usa since sep18)
*
would my absence for about 9 months (after 1st visit) be construed as any form of abandonment.
or
should i visit usa again sometimes in feb19 (less than six months after 1st visit), & then final/permanent settling visit in may19.
2nd visit 240+ days after 1st visit (merged)

my physical gc has arrived at my usa address.
but, currently am in india & planning a 2nd visit to usa sometime in feb19 or may19
should i get my physical gc couriered to my india address BEFORE leaving for usa
or
at any airport (including transit) , will only my 'passport-with immigration stamp' suffice (first visit completed on 04sep18)
