Unfortunately, mail is extremely delayed due to holiday rush + COVID understaffing. If possible, try to find the direct phone number for the USPS location where you applied, they may be able to help you via the phone and provide you with the tracking number. Even with this information, not much can be done until the mail moves further down the line.

I advise getting the tracking number from USPS if possible.

Regular. But correct me if I'm wrong, isn't the expedite process once they receive the application, nothing to do with the actual mailing of the application for processing?

I applied 12/03 in NYC and nothing is showing up for me online yet.

I contacted the post office where I applied earlier this week to see if there was a hold up on their end with sending the application out and was told that the mail system is overloaded in major metro areas area due to holiday shipping which is causing delays with mail being processed.  

She located the tracking number of the package containing my application for my reference. I don't know if its a coincidence or not, but I spoke with her yesterday and this morning my application was delivered!

Submitted for routine service on 12/03/20 from NYC. 

As of 12/19/20, check has yet to be cashed and application "not found" on tracking portal. 

More annoyed than worried, hoping I am able to track/check is cashed before the new year. 

August 05, 2019 Bronx filer here. Just got an update that my interview has been scheduled. Waiting for the notice to show up on the online portal.

Just got back from biometrics, did a walk-in at the Bronx location. 

I'm in the Bronx, so I'm under the jurisdiction of the Federal Plaza location. 

Also, my estimated completion went up to 10 months, and now 9 months after biometrics. 



 

Submitted 08/05/2019 with pending I-751, to my surprise my estimated case completion currently stands at 3 months - November 2019. 
Not holding my breath though, I'm expecting the estimate to go up once I complete biometrics. 

My case completion is now showing as 3 months - November 2019, how is this possible, I am a  NYC filer. Admittedly expecting for the date to go up any day now.

@Mike Bico - I had the same issue. I think it is a technical glitch with the application attaching itself to your profile. The good news is that it has no effect on case processing. This morning I received my first update, "Biometrics scheduled," and now I have access to all the relevant case information. I guess the update served as a system refresh of sorts. I say the same is likely for you.
